Used these on a hike up Mount Monadnock, temp was sub freezing the entire hike and I was comfortable during the climb. I'm 6' 225lbs and ordered an XL. They were slightly big on me despite the sizing guide saying this should be my size. I had to draw down the belt as far as I could. However there would be plenty of room to layer if I needed too
