Cirque Lite Alpine Climbing Pants

Love the pants, but really they are about 6 inches to long.

I got these pants for hiking, work, and every day use. I love the fit and versatility of them and wish I had bought more than one pair.

For the life of me, I cannot understand why you are still selling the grey color. I bought a black and grey pair and absolutely LOVE the black; however, the grey from day 1 started pilling. I filed a warranty claim and after jumping through their hoops, I was shipped a replacement. They asked which color I wanted and I said, I would love grey, but not if they are going to do the same thing. I was told they are having an issue with that color and that color only and are seeing a lot of returns. Those pants now are actually fuzzy and unwearable outside of the home. The black are amazing, though. This happened only a few weeks ago, so I really don't understand why they continue to sell grey. I can't comment on the tan ones.

Great pant light easy for trekking- small tear at seam in butt/thigh area-

Piling of fabric after one hiking trip. Did not hold up to use.

Wish they got a little looser and less like a legging, but they are a good sturdy material. Been wearing these for a few years now and they’ve held up well.

Perfect for spring/summer mountaineering objectives. These pants provide more protection than regular hiking pants, along with some wind and water resistance, without being too hot and heavy for summer outings.

Absolutely love these pants. I just wore them almost every day for our 9 day hiking trip in the Canadian Rockies. Love the built in belt and multiple zipper pockets. We experienced snow, rain, and warm, sunny days and these pants were comfortable for all of it. Will definitely be buying another pair when other colors come out!

These are some of the best outdoor pants made For warm and mild weather. I hike in them, biking in them, wear them in light rain. They are one of the perfect outdoor pants between the cirque and cirque light I am covered year-round here in Alaska.

They fit well and really do manage cool to warm weather very well (been comfortable in them in 12c-22c). But they are not durable. One via ferrata and the pilling in the areas where my harness touched was very apparent. It wasn't even a long day (maybe 3-ish hours of activity). I also used them on a more advanced hike in alpine terrain where I would brush up against rocks and trees and they look VERY worn. I dont think they would last another similar adventure. 2 uses and they are relegated to the emergency pants pile (to be used only as a last resort). If you're looking for a nice looking pair that will suite light hikes, these will work just fine and are a good pair for variable weather. If any scrambling, climbing with a harness etc. or more alpine/rugged terrain is in your future, look elsewhere.

The fit and versatility of these pants is wonderful. I bought them for hiking and backpacking. I decided to throw them in my bag for a JR Cyclocross camp I was helping coach. It rained every day. This pants held up, helped keep me dry and protected from the wind so I could coach all day long. The pants quickly dried in between sessions and were ready for the next round of coaching. If they can stand up to a cold and rainy cyclocross camp then they can stand up to back country travel.

Best hiking pants (and passes as casual pants) ever! I’m on my 4th pair! I love the belt and use it all the time. The mediums fit perfectly for me at 5’9” and 145 lbs. All the pockets are great! They work well in warm and cool weather - I’ve worn them in winter and summer here in Colorado and they do great! More fun colors please like burgundy!
