This Sam Edelman Wide Calf Boot is totally awesome. If you have bigger calves, the measurement it gives you on the circumference is true to size. Silver boots, channeling my Bowie! I like them. Will I keep them? They fit me very large. Both the shoe bed and the shaft. Which is weird because I'm a thicc grrl, if anything, I'm usually having a hard time zipping boots. I'm glad the shoe bed is large, that just means room for some nice insole. But the thick shaft I may not be able to handle. I see comments saying their shaft was too tight to zip, so odd mine is so generous. Might return for the same size in case there was an error in manufacturing. The look: great shiny leather, square toe, so comfort in the toe box. Appear well made. Shaft is soft if you aren't going to wear long socks. Heel curves in a bit to add a bit of unique drama. Heel high enough to look like you are fancy, but low enough for all day wear.
