Flower Embroidery Western Boot (Women)

These lovely boots are everything I am looking for country line dancing: pretty, comfy, low heel, made of real leather with a leather sole. Ordered this pair, the Flower Embroidery Western Boot, and its close sister, the Floral Embroidery Western Boot. Both styles appear to be built on the same platform, just with differing design details. Both are gorgeous, but I prefer the slightly understated style of this one, the Flower Embroidery. See attached photos for a side-by-side comparison so you can make your own choice if unsure which suits you better. Honestly, you cannot go wrong with either pair. Sizing: While this boot felt like it fit in a size 9, when walking, my heel slips. I am struggling with knowing how much heel slip is too much. Online research tells me that real leather boots will mold and form to your foot over time, stretch and develop a little give. These boots in a size 9 just feel the slightest bit clunky when I walk in them. Unsure if that is the intended fit, or if they are a little too big. Its sister boot, in the Floral Embroidery style, fit perfectly on the left foot in an 8.5. Just a big sizing difference between the right and the left in that box, as noted in its, separate, review. Am very hopeful a new order, of this boot, the Flower Embroidery in 8.5, will provide the perfect boot with the perfect fit for my narrow, typically size 9, foot. Of note, though the toe box is pointy, it does not initially feel squishy or uncomfortable, in either the 8.5 or the 9. I supposed a longer try-on period is needed to see if this remains the case. Research says comfort and the right fit, a low heel, and the right size are vital if you intent to be able to wear your boots for an evening of line dancing.
