Quality jacket
Size 4 fit perfect. The material is thick and the jacket can almost stand up on it's own because the interfacing (the stuff you don't see inside, sandwiched between the fabric and lining) is well done; it is not stiff, just structured. It has small shoulder pads. The fabric is soft/semi furry to the touch, like it's brushed. The sleeves are sewn into the ruched elbow look, there is no elastic and the sleeves do not come down at all. I wish it was vented in the back. If you wear it with the Nordstrom Packable Floppy Hat in Dark Tan you end up with a safari outfit. A more relaxed beach hat pairs better. ...maybe a white/ivory fedora would look good, too?

Not if you are short waisted
I have the matching pants and I so badly wanted this jacket to work so I can have the full set. Unfortunately the waist was too low for me. I am 5'4" and short waisted. The material is stiff so it does not drape which means the waist has to be at the right spot.

Fabulous jacket
I have the Louisa jacket in several colors, it is very flattering and a great addition to every wardrobe. In regard to sizing, this style runs a bit small. For reference I usually wear a size 2 and in this jacket, I wear a size 4. Highly recommend.

Don't do it
beautiful in theory but not in reality. Very stiff material. I'm going to make it work though - because I'd rather figure it out than have to deal with Nordstrom's super consumer-unfriendly return policy. It used to be so easy to return things. Sad how things have changed
