timelessly stylish and fun but sizing way off

I love these shoes! Very versatile and I’ve literally been wearing the style for decades, but note how off sizing is. The description says size 1/2 down but I had to go a full size. I normally wear a 9.5 and a 40 European but wear an 8.5 in this style. (I have 2 diff pairs and both are a full size down.)

The shoes were too expensive $80.

The shoes were too expensive. When I was a teenager in 1975 a pair of Converse unbleached white were $15 and a pair of Levi's 517 were $15. Talk about INFLATION. The last time 2 years ago when I bought the parchment Converse they were $55. What is going on with your store and Nordstrom quality, professionalism and integrity?
