So Kate Pointed Toe Pump (Women)

Soooo in love with this shoe!!!! The Christian Louboutin 'So Kate' Pointy Toe Pump is an absolute dream! It is a beautiful signature style and I can't wait to own more! This is my 2nd pair and I purchased the nude 'So Kate' in an 11us/41eu. I am a us size 9/9.5 with fat feet and I am a size 18 , and the 11 fits perfectly! The size that I purchased for my initial pair (the black suede 'So Kate') were an 11.5us/41.5eu, and I noticed that with my initial pair it caused a gap at the heel, because my feet were pushed forward while walking or standing ( which is so not cute!, get heels that don't flop ladies! these are heels! not sandals! :)), hence me sizing down to my normal size. And yes, sizing down was a piece of work! But in the end you will be happy you did, if you follow these 3 Quick Tips to break in your 'So Kates' 1. cut your toenails, yes the wiggle room is needed! 2. Wear a thin sock ( like one from the dollar store) to break them in for the first 3 times that you put them on! This helps stretch the shoe, so that when you wear them out your shoe has been shaped to your foot. You can do this while sitting at home with your feet up, so as not to mark up the beautiful red sole or on carpet, again we want to preserve the sole! and 3. make sure to use an oil/lotion on your toes before putting your 'So Kate's on, you don't have to slather the grease on like your cooking chicken, just a dab will do, on the pinky toe and The Toe. :) this helps to also give your feet some slip and therefore sink correctly and comfortably into your shoe. After breaking these sistas in, you will be the highlight of the party for about 3 hrs and then you will need to sit down, but at least your shoes are beautiful right?!
