I was so excited to finally purchase a pair of Christian Louboutin heels, especially since I found them at a slightly lower price through Nordstrom. Unfortunately, the condition they arrived in was incredibly disappointing and honestly unacceptable for a $1,000+ luxury purchase. The shoes themselves are absolutely stunning, but they did not arrive in new condition. There was visible dirt inside the shoes, scratches on the leather, and even scuffing on the red bottoms—which is kind of the whole point of buying Louboutins in the first place. If you’re investing in CL, you expect them to arrive pristine, unworn, and in perfect condition. To make matters worse, the package even included a note thanking me for purchasing a Chanel item, which just added to the sense that there was a serious lack of care and attention in fulfilling this order. For sizing reference, I typically wear a size 8, and I ordered a 37.5, which fit perfectly—so no issues there. But despite the $50 savings compared to buying directly from Louboutin, it is absolutely not worth the risk of receiving damaged or previously worn shoes. If you’re going to spend this kind of money, I highly recommend purchasing directly from the brand instead. Really disappointing receiving them from Nordstrom in this condition.
