Large Cabata Soft Leather Tote Bag

It is a quality made bag with classic styling. It would be nice if it had an internal slip pocket as it’s quite large and finding my phone would be easier with a pocket. Otherwise, it’s a terrific handbag.

was so excited when I purchased this Christian Louboutin bag, but unfortunately it didn’t meet my expectations. The structure was very flimsy and not sturdy at all, it would cave in and wouldn’t hold its shape. For a bag at this price point, I expected much better quality and craftsmanship, so I ended up returning it. For comparison, I own a Jimmy Choo bag that I purchased from Neiman Marcus, and the difference in quality is very noticeable. The leather is solid, structured, and holds itself up beautifully. It feels durable and well-made. Sadly, this bag just didn’t deliver the level of quality I was expecting.

There was zero quality control before this bag shipped out to me. It had pen marks and dark ink stains all over the inside. Something inside had also been cut off leaving just a hook (the attached purse was there so I’m not sure what was cut off but it’s clear something was). There were also either stains or wear visible on the outside. I had to beg for the replacement to be sent while I sent back the original without being charged for the second one in the meantime (basically they expected I lay out another $1900 until my return arrived). Then to top it off, my replacement order was cancelled with zero explanation. Once I finally got a hold of someone who could explain it, they said “some information was original misaligned but it’s been resolved now”. Whatever that means. I ended up placing this order directly through Christian Louboutin and I suggest others do the same. I’m really surprised at Nordstrom and this entire experience.
