Medium Marcie Calfskin Leather Satchel

I bought this bag a while back, but only use it once in a while and take very good care of it I recently noticed that the material is 'flaking' off the front. It's very small to see (I attached a pic to this review) but it's there and there's no reason for a $2,100 purse to do that. I reached out to Chloe but they wont accept a return or exchange- I was shocked by their lack of customer service given their name and the price for this purse. It definitely wasnt damaged by me, it's a very strange defect of the bag. I know it's leather, it's actually a beautiful bag, so I have no idea why it's doing this. I would think it through before spending this much money.

I bought this bag nine months ago and use it only a few times a month as I like to rotate through all of my bags. When not in use it lays nicely in the dust cover in my closet. During a recent outing I happened to notice that my $2200 bags zipper was turning from gold to silver. I do understand the the zipper is brushed gold but for a bag as expensive as this one I think it should last at least a few years without showing signs of wear and the hardware changing colors. Beyond disappointed and would never buy a Chloe bag again.

I wanted to write a review because I read so many before buying this bag. The quality of this bag is wonderful and the leather is so soft. I love that I can wear the bag 4 different ways because of the cross body strap. The strap to the bag is detachable, which makes the bag versatile. I purchased the black, but I love the grey and tan also. The bag is not too big for everyday wear and can hold all of your stuff without looking huge. I know that I will be showing this bag love for years to come. I feel confident buying a luxury bag from Nordstrom because I know they will stand behind the product! I am a happy girl!

The bag is beautiful. However, out on Christmas day, when I unzipped the bag, shickingly it unclasped completely. Quite stunned, I tinkered with it and after a few tries, I was able to rehook the zipper. Needless to say, for the brand, supposed quality and price, this shouldn't be happening. Sadly, this occurred repeatedly through out the evening. I'll return to Nordstrom this week for an exchange. I really like it. and I'm hopeful, maybe foolishly so, that this zipper malfunction was unique to this single item & the whole line isn't defective.

I ordered both sizes small and medium to compare them. Both are extremely beautiful, the quality is excellent, the grey color is stunning, perfect for every occasion. The shape of the purse is so elegant, stylish, make you feel in love with this style of the purse, it goes perfect with every outfit. I choose the medium size bc it will be my everyday purse and I need enough space for all my stuffs. I wear it for a special gala with the outfit in the photo and I noticed all the eyes on my purse. Everyone was loving it!!! You definitely have to get it!!! Not remorse at all! The price worth it! This is a must have it.

I have wanted this bag for 3 years. My husband surprised me for early Christmas with this med Marcie bag in cashmere gray. I wanted a classic neutral for this investment bag and checked out the two browns available before keeping the beautiful cashmere. One brown is too “saddle” and while classic is more casual. The lighter brown is slightly yellow in person. You’d think Chloe could figure out a nice light brown! Anyway the cashmere is a brownish gray and looks so pretty with the gold hardware. I plan to use it as much as possible as a daily bag. A bag this cool shouldn’t have to live in a dust bag in the closet reserved for special occasions!
