'Marcie - Long' Zip Around Wallet

I have three different styles of the Chloe Marcie bag so with my Nordstrom rewards I purchased this-what a deal! It can hold my iPhone, which is in a case, 12 credit card slots, two sections for dollar bills, and a zippered coin section all of which are held securely with the outside zip around making it a perfect clutch. It easily fits in my Marcie medium satchel, medium crossbody, and my tote. It is in nut which is an absolute neutral. My satchel is nut, crossbody black, and tote denim blue and the nut looks great with all three! I chose this over the wristlet, which is smaller because of the 6 additional credit card slots plus I prefer this size. Typical Chloe craftsmanship heavy duty stitching and zipper with beautiful leather.

I purchased this wallet in Tan to match the Marcie crossbody. I also have it in Nut to match my Marcie hobo. I originally thought that I wanted the continental flap wallet, but after trying that out, I quickly realized how much more I could fit inside the zip-around and I didn't have to worry about a flap that kept unsnapping. It is also easier to hold because the hardware on the zipper is not in the way like the continental. I love the design and the zipper pull that gives it a distinct and elegant look. The leather is thick and soft, but the wallet is not heavy. It has a nice leather smell also. It is a great price for being a designer leather wallet. I have LV bags and wallet that sometimes feel like everyone has them , so I like that my Chloe bags and wallets are less common. I tend to use them more than my LV. I also get quite a few compliments.

Tassle on zipper does not stay on. The metal U shaped metal clasp that hooks the tassel on becomes weakened with time. For $550 not acceptable. I just returned mine after only 5 months and finding the zipper tassel on the ground. Tried to tighten it back on, but to no avail. Sad because other than that, this wallet is perfect.

Yo. So I have had this wallet for a little over a year now and the tassel on the zipper has fallen off 3 times. I’ve even exchanged it for a new one. It makes me sad because I love this wallet and wanted it in other colors, but now I’m weary since it keeps breaking. At the price it should last longer. Besides that it’s a beautiful wallet.

Just purchased this Chloe wallet today at Village of Merrick Park store. Although the quality of the exterior leather and craftsmanship is in keeping with the price, the interior leather is average at best, and the coin pocket zipper broke upon first pull! Very disappointed! This piece will definitely have to be returned- an inconvenience too.

I was really excited about the citrus grove color. I thought it would be a cheery yellow, like the bright yellow of an actual lemon, but in reality it was a very drab yellow. The wallet itself is beautiful. The leather has that highly sought after "butter" quality. The interior is nicely organized. The zipper runs smoothly. It is large in length and width, but that was not a problem for me. The salesperson showed me a bright orange Fendi wallet, but I was nowhere near as impressed with the quality of the leather and the zipper ran rough. This wallet sans color issues is fabulous and that's why I rated it 4 stars. I omitted a star due to the color, and chose not to recommend it, because I would not recommend that color.
