Truly Spectacular Ballet Flat!
Love, love, love, these Chloe ballet flats!! I agonized for years due to their cost but finally broke down after reading that fine leather shoes, if properly cared for, should last a lifetime. These flats are well worth the money -- they are comfortable, beautiful, ultra feminine, extremely well made, and gorgeously classic. I've read you should have a shoemaker affix a thin rubber overlay to the sole of all high end shoes prior to first wearing them in order to prevent excessive wear and protect the fine leather upper. Also, spraying fine leather shoes with water repellent prior to first wearing them is highly recommended as well. I expected these shoes would stretch much more than they did--I normally wear an 8.5 sometimes a 9 in Tory Burch. With Chloe, a size 39 was still somewhat snug after 4 months of wear so I now purchase 39.5 BTW: I now happily own 3 pairs of these scalloped flats!! Go for it--you won't be disappointed!

Not worth it
I really wanted to love these. I got a pair in gold. Must go up at least half a size. These are not all day shoes. They have zero support. By the 3rd day of trying to break them in, the gold started to peel in the toes area. So disappointed and so overpriced.

Disappointed for the price
I only wore these a couple times and the toes got scuffed so badly (and this was just around the office not like a strenuous day of walking) - super disappointed considering how much they cost. Would not recommend, save your money

super cute but thin materials
Torn on my review. Darling shoe that pairs well w pants but there is zero support. Bought these as my go to office work flat. The leather upper and sole are very thin - you can feel pebbles under foot and see the outline of your toes in the leather on top. Took them to a conference, and after 7 hours of sitting, standing and walking in a hotel my feet were killing me. No blisters, but I may as well have been barefoot all day as they are so thin. The leather is fragile and scuffs easily. Disappointed due to the price but darn they are good looking on. I also normally wear an eight and in the store they seemed too small/tight and I sized up to an 8 1/2. They do end up stretching and I probably could’ve been fine with the eight.

At this price, I want five stars.
As another reviewer mentioned, the taupe color is... to put it mildly, kind of awful. It's nothing like the lovely blush color you see on the screen. I don't understand how something that costs $500 can be so horrid. It's as though designers at Chloe didn't know color theory. (My partner, who's an artist, agrees.) It has some gray/bluish cast to it, it's like a dead person's skin color. Maybe if you're really tan or pale it might work. You know how you'd use a salmon color concealer (i.e. warm cast) to cancel out your dark circles (blue veins)? Think exactly the opposite. Anyway. As for fit, I don't think they run small length-wise. They were TTS. The width is narrow, yes. I have narrow-ish feet, and the sides were still threatening to gape some. And the shoes are shallow = not for high arches. If your feet are narrow, flat, and if you order other colors, you might like them. I wanted to love them, but not so much for me.

Lovely, wish they could’ve worked out.
The quality of these flats are worth every penny! The only problem for me is that I have a high arch and flats in general aren’t my number 1 go-to shoe. I’m originally a size 8. I fluctuate between 7.5-8.5. My main size is 8, though. In these shoes I felt as though a 9 would’ve fit the best for me! I have smaller feet and I thought the 8 would fit perfectly. But this time Around I would’ve went with the 9..
