Krafty Knee High Boot (Women)

I bought the Krafty boot in black as a less expensive alternative to my Sam Edelman Hiltin boots, which does not come in black suede. This boot is very cute, and being that I am 4'10, the top of the boot hits right at my knees (with a little bit of a scrunch, as the suede is very sift). I bought a 1/2 size larger, per suggestions from other reviews, which is a tad loose, but not terrible. What I am having a hard time with is that these black boots leave a dark ring around my legs, by the knees, at the top of the boot. I suppose I could wear dark knee high socks to keep the color transfer from staining my skin, but.....not ideal. I really had to scrub to get the black off of my legs. I am surprised no one else has reported this as an issue as of yet.

I have these boots in the Redwood suede. I can not begin to tell you have gorgeous these boots are. Honestly thought I was buying boots in a chestnut color but sooooo happy I was wrong. I love love love these boots and am still able to style them as if they were the chestnut. And comfy to boot.

I ordered these boots following the previous suggestions to size up. I went from 9 to 9.5. I was nervous, 9.5 usually flops off my feet with a horrible gap across the width of my foot. The 9.5 fits like a true 9. I have skinny legs and ankles and that has always been a issue for me with tall boots, but not with these. They are a perfect fit. They are comfortable and the suede is Super Soft (I didn't expect that)!! I am able to slouch them down to my calf and they stay in place. No gapping and no flapping against the back of my calf when I walk (sounding like flip flops =)... I want to order the black.

I purchased these in the honey brown suede color and love! I am debating buying in black suede also. I did order a half size up from my usual size and I think that was helpful. Note - I do have small ankles and caves though. These are also nice transitional boots from day to night... will be getting a lot of use out of them.
