The ruching is a fatal flaw.
A great material that can pack well and is comfortable. Was returned, however, because the ruching on the side is a fatal flaw. Unless you have no abdomen or hips at all, the ruching makes the hips look big and the mid-section look even bigger. Not a great design for a regular woman.

What I liked the most about this dress, is that material is heavy, everywhere, but the sleeves. Beautiful saturated color.
The heave material would keep some extra rolls, as a Spandex. The dress runs small. Try one or even two sizes up. The opening was too big for this kind of dress.

Very flattering fit and gorgeous color
I bought this dress in red and it's a gorgeous bright spring red. I know it says it's a cocktail dress but I purchased this for work. It's extremely flattering from the front with the ruching and open neckline. I'm 5'3" and 130 pounds and ordered the 8. I don't think I would want to go any smaller. It's quite fitted. The material has some stretch but it's also very well constructed and holds its shape. Bottom half is heavier material than the top which works! I'm short waisted and it is a bit long waisted on me. While I love it and I'm keeping it my only other complaint is that I wish it had some type of ruching in the back top area (like the front) so it would be a bit more forgiving!

I bought this dress in red and was worried that the color was a bit too bright, but let me tell you.. it is stunningly eye catching, elegant, and so flattering! I love the fabric and how it enhances my slender figure. It has a bit of a waistline and hugs the feminine curves. I got so many compliments wearing this dress. It is worth it!
