Alma Lace Off the Shoulder Ruffle Cocktail Dress

As the other reviewer mentioned, it's large in the bust. And I have a large bust - so this NEVER happens to me. Almost every time something doesn't fit me it's because it's too small in the chest. I'm usually a 14 in dresses but went down to a 12 in this. Once I put my strapless bra on, the top fit better but without the bra it was 2-3" too big and didn't stay up well - even though there is boning in the top. And it's a top that's structured enough that you COULD go braless if it fit properly. It fit me well through the waist and hips - I carry some weight in my midsection, but my hips are on the straighter side. But because the top didn't fit right I found myself constantly adjusting it even in just the few minutes I wore it to try it on. The "sleeves" are pretty and roomy - I have athletic arms and sometimes these little mini sleeves are too tight on me but these leave lots of room for movement. The color is a tad more purple/lavender than I expected. Hard to describe but it's like a blush with lavender undertones. I don't love it. Overall the style is pretty and unique, but I don't think I like it enough to have it altered to fit better.
