Tiered Bell Cuff Square Neck Dress

The print caught my attention as soon as I saw this in the preview. Bonus it was to be stocked at my local store. I tried it yesterday and the print was still beautiful in person but, the fit was really off. I am typically a medium. The bust fit perfectly with zero puckering in the back smocking and the length was great. The sleeves though were weird. The shoulders kept falling down despite elastic being there and the banded wrist fell above my wrist bone. The ruffle on the end of the wrist was not loose or flowy but, short and stiff. They stuck out oddly and sat in a weird place. I adjusted the position to fall at my wrist but then the shoulders would immediately fall. Sizing down to a small would have been too snug on my bust. My arms are not considered longer than average so it was really odd. Such a pretty pattern but, put back on the rack.

I saw this dress at my local Nordstrom store and I almost didn’t try it on. I loved the print but was unsure of how the empire waist would look on me. When I tried it on, I was sold! It is so versatile! You can even pull the shoulders down! I have worn the dress with white sneakers and received so many compliments! I can see myself wearing it into the fall with knee high boots!
