Sleeveless Corset Bodice Dress

Love this dress. I love that it’s tight at the top but goes out below the waist. It’s kind of uncomfy with a bra, but luckily the top part is structured and thick enough to not really need one! Runs a little small. For reference I’m usually a 14/16 and the xxl fit me perfectly. Excited to wear it!

I'd purchased a large, (wouldn't let me pick that) and the armholes on this were tiny. I'm short waisted and the waist on this was high. Also, "red grenadine" is more of an orange. There's also weird boning in this dress, but it's cotton (??). So it did the honor of smooshing my boobs up and making them lumpy at the same time! Nice. It honestly felt like something you'd wear in a period piece at a community theatre. I guess they weren't kidding about the "corset" part. It's the strangest dress I've tried on in a while. Pass.

The color is divine in the blue but had to return. The boning is badly cut so instead of enhancing your cleavage and waist it flattens out your breast and is cut so it ends by digging into your waist rather than going down past it. The fabric is a heavier poplin so too heavy for summer.

Beautiful black dress, runs small, so had to size up to a medium. Purchased for my niece who is 120 pounds and usually wears a size 4 or a 6.

Oof, this is unfortunate, because I do like how it looks on me. However, since I'm shorter (5'3"), the straps feel just slightly too long for me, so the corset bit feels like they kind of... miss my breast portion and go right for the ribs. It's not actually uncomfortable (though that might also be owing to the fact that my breasts are fairly small and I'm skinny), but it feels both loose up top and slightly snug above the waist -- a very weird feeling. If the straps were adjustable, or if there was an actual petite size, I might've considered keeping this. For now, though, it's a definite return.
