Full Fat Lashes Mascara

This mascara does EVERYTHING that I want my mascara to do; length, volume, separation, etc. EXCEPT it is NOT waterproof/smearproof/smear resistant. I have raccoon eyes within 4 hours after application (yes, I set my under eye area, user primer, etc.). I know that it doesn't state anywhere that it is a waterproof but sometimes a mascara will have a long-wearing quality that isn't stated. I want to love this mascara but I just cannot. Maybe I can find a "sealer" that I can apply over the top; that I would go to that extent shows how much I like this mascara. Charlotte Tilbury, please come out with a waterproof version of this mascara. THAT would be my holy-grail/ride-or-die mascara. Until then, I will keep searching.

At first application, this mascara seems like everything I'd want - it doesn't clump, it defines the lashes, and looks perfect, a natural enhancement of my own lashes. Problems start a couple of hours into the day, when, even though I've spend the time in a perfectly A/Ced room, I've started to get the dreaded raccoon eyes. For a 30 dollar mascara, that's just unacceptable. In fact, by the end of the day, there was so little of it left, it was almost not worth even removing it end of day.

Let me begin by saying I love Charlotte Tilbury. I love her magic cream and her goddess mask. I love almost all her make up. I was very excited to get this mascara, but unfortunately it really did not work out for me. I have used all sorts of mascaras in the past. Some from the drugstore, many from department stores and high-end brands. This mascara does lengthen and separate the lashes, however it takes a very long time to build this mascara up. It is a good mascara for someone who likes really good natural looking lashes, but I am a dramatic lash kind of girl. I feel that for the price it is not worth it at all. I would rather spend my money on Giorgio Armani eyes to kill mascara!

I very rarely leave negative reviews but I was highly disappointed in this. And even after reading negative reviews I still gave it a shot because i really like the other products from this line. But if you want full, fat lashes that last all day, this is not for you. Stick to Dior Show or the like. It reminds me of organic mascara, very natural and soft, doesn't last all day and needs reapplication throughout. There is nothing dramatic or lengthening about this product. So if you want natural lashes and want to reapply multiple times a day, this one is for you.

This is the best mascara I've found in a while! I have long lashes but need thickening and definition. This went on perfectly, defined every lash, stayed on all day, no flaking or smearing. It feels light and soft. It came off easily with just cleanser. Watch Charlotte's how to videos for application - they are so helpful!

This is a good, quality mascara which you can apply over and over again without getting spider lashes. The packaging is beautiful and when you pull the wand out there's not too much of the product left on the brush head. The bristles are tapered and soft and it's easy to get a nice, natural, defined lash look with this product. I used this for several days, with and without my Dior lash primer, but never felt like I was getting that full fat lash effect. I honestly get fuller lashes with my Cover Girl Lash Blast, or Maybeline The Falsies mascara. If you're looking for a more natural effect, high quality formula and packaging, then this is for you. If you often find yourself wanting lots of lash drama, this may not do the trick.
