Your overtone is what you see in the mirror, and your undertone is determined by the color of the veins on the underside of your wrist. If they are bluish-purple, it means you are on the cool side. Greenish means you are warm. If they look bluish-green, they are likely neutral.

Great Product
I was hesitant about buying this product online without color matching in store, but hey - that’s pandemic life! Thankfully I guessed correct! This foundation goes on smooth, it’s definitely full coverage & doesn’t oxidize throughout the day! While pricey, it’s a great alternative to my current foundation.

This stuff is awful for older skin
Unless you want to look like Gloria Swanson in Sunset Blvd, avoid this foundation. It looks like a matte mask and accentuates any fine lines. I was hoping for more with all the hype and the price.

Favorite long wear foundation
After reading lots of reviews, watching YouTube’s, which was not too positive, I decided to take a risk and loved it. The finish is full coverage, wears about 6-8 hours, and is beautiful in pictures. The trick was learning how to blend. I use a wet sponge, prime and hydrate and magic.

Major Disappointment
What a major disappointment. The only reason it's getting 2 stars is for the shade range, great shade options. This formula... where do I even start. Long story short, it's not long wearing, it separates on the skin and transfers like no other, the coverage is fine but the finish is awful. I am in my late 30's with oily skin, and this was a hot mess. There are very few foundations that I have tried, that are this BAD. Like, I don't even know what else to say. If it's any reference, the other foundations I hate are Cover FX Power Play, Dior Backstage face and body, and Laura Mercier flawless fusion. Foundations I love, Dior Forever (matte), Lancome Teint Idole Ultra, and Estee Lauder Double Wear.

This foundation is the best one I have ever used! Leaves your skin looking flawless and the coverage is amazing! I set it with the Flower Beauty powder or CT airbrush powder too. The FB to me is basically a dupe for CT and way cheaper, but I love the foundation and will repurchase...

The pros outweigh the con
First, the pros. This foundation is full coverage without looking like full coverage. It's truly amazing and stays on EXTREMELY well with a mask. You'll still get product transfer to your mask, but your imperfections won't show on your face when you remove the mask. I didn't even feel like I needed any concealer (or not as much, anyway lol).
I'm oily with some dry areas (age, boo... hiss) but I do find the foundation stays on all day. I just blot and add some pressed setting powder after to refresh.
Now, the con. Color matching will prove to be incredibly difficult. For the fair-to-light range, the undertone for the neutral shades pulls very peachy-to-orange and the warm shades pull very orange.
I wouldn't pay much attention to the brand descriptions. If you're anything other than very warm toned I would recommend opting for a Cool shade. I always wear something neutral and needed 3C (even then, it's a little too peachy but I'm making it work because I love the formula lol). I'm generally very light so I was shocked I even needed a 3 (I had a 1 in my cart before I was able to snag a sample).

A Little Goes A Beautiful and Long Way
I purchased the shade 5W which is perfect for my light skin with warm undertones. My skin type is normal to dry, with the dry areas being around the sides of my mouth. I was hesitant to try this because a lot of liquid long-wearing foundations end up making the dry areas of my face worse and result in a lot of patchiness that flakes throughout the day, but the Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Foundation exceeded my expectations. No dryness at all and the makeup stays put and looks great the entire day! I don't use a primer and instead I only wear a moisturizing sunscreen underneath, letting that set for 10 minutes before applying the foundation. I first use my fingers to dab on the foundation, dotting along my face and then blending with my fingers until I get to a good point where I can switch over to a beauty blending sponge to finish. A full pump is way too much and I end up with more product left over so I learned that using a half-pump is ideal for me, for my whole face. I then go back into some of the smaller areas with just a little dab more and blend those areas out with either my fingers or the sponge. I love this makeup and I don't even feel it on my face. So happy with this purchase!
