Bernardo Slide
Pulled these out of the box and noted they are heavy plus the band is angled. Took a few steps and the band caused my feet to slide out and inward until I stumbled!!! Looked at website photos closely and the band is set at an angle. 🙁 I use to design clothing and understand shoe construction. These may work if you have higher arches and under pronate (walk on the outside edge of your foot.) Beware if you have low arches or flat feet (pronate or over-pronate.) After 12 surgeries to reconstruct my leg/ankle/foot these are going back. Disappointed with all the sandals I bought from Bernardo, especially given the price point.

rigid, heavy, feet keep slipping out
These shoes are good looking but not functional. The rigid design and inflexible bottom making them impossible to walk in.

Thought I’d try even though low stars. Always liked this brand. Quality and good reputation. I do need to size up always. Wear 6.5, so not much. Order 7. I like that this brand sizing is consistent. So annoying when certain brands change sizes due to the shoe. My only hesitation is the saddle color is much darker , it’s pretty. Thinking on it. Love the style. Casual with a twist.

pretty color, not a great fit
Sadly these were returned. I have been looking at these for a while and finally decided to purchase. The reviews were not great, but I really liked the shoe and decided to try. Overall, the leather band was too tight and the fit was off. My arch wasn’t hitting here it needed to.
