Chantelle Lingerie
A pioneer in lingerie, Chantelle was launched in 1949 as a shapewear manufacturer, and began producing bras in 1960. Known for creating the first seamless bra with molded cups in 1972, Chantelle Intimates has grown to become a world leader in French lingerie. Its first factory in Epernay, France, is still in operation today, where a new generation of seamstresses use time-honored techniques.

Retro fit
This bra fits great! Reminds me of the old days, when bras were meant to give support and comfort.( something that is missing in the last 10 years.) The strap across the back is wider which keeps the bra from riding up in back while the breasts droop in front. Not a look I'll be sporting since purchasing several of these bras.

Terrible Straps & Itchy Material
The shape and fit of this bra are great, and I like the cups, but the material is kind of rough for something that's supposed to hug your skin, and I absolutely hate the straps. I don't know why it's necessary to have two straps on top, but one of them constantly falls down on both shoulders and I am always fixing them. And if they aren't falling down they are twisting. I've tried making the fit tighter but it still doesn't work, so sadly now I am stuck with a bra I don't really like.

comfortable
This bra is comfortable, though I find the gore digs a little. The cups are true to size and the band is perfect, lace is soft and lovely. The spacer fabric is light but it provides absolutely no nipple coverage and is not smooth under tops. If they call it a t-shirt bra, there should be no concerns about headlights. Sadly returned, as that's non-negotiable to me. I am a 30G (US sizing) and do not need extra oomph padding, but would not like to showcase what's under my bra on a daily basis. Perhaps a summer-only bra? Then again.. the dreaded A/C blast. Perhaps add another layer or two of the spacer fabric (instead of just 2) to make this a perfect bra that would be worth its price.

Beautiful, comfortable
Love this bra. On my second one. Comfortable fit. Pretty bra. Unlike a lot of 34G styles this one doesn't feel like s vice, the wire under arm doesn't come up as high, AND doesn't 'minimize'. Nice natural fit.

Merci...
This bra would be amazing. It fits great, great support and coverage. But there's a huge problem for me with this bra. The split straps twist and fold over while wearing....it's unavoidable. The skinny straps left huge marks on my shoulders. I kept readjusting all day long and couldn't wait to get home to take it off. The straps are uncomfortable and dug in to my skin. It has to go back.....bummer :(

Great support, odd sizing
I'm loving the support and structure of this bra and appreciate that it comes in a 30" band, which can be hard to find. I first purchased it in black but when I decided to buy a second one in 'Perfect Nude' I ran into issues. The band on the nude is about 1/2 - 3/4" shorter than the black and since I wear it on the last hooks, was too tight. The nude was only available online, so I sent it back to exchange for another to see if it was just an odd one, but the replacement is the same. Since the rest of the fit is great and I'm loving the support it gives, I decided to keep it and just get an extender. It fits fine with that, but it's disappointing to spend $80 on a bra and have manufacturing inconsistencies like that.

love it, but...
The day I discovered the wonderful fit and comfort of Chantelle bras will go down in history for me. OK, maybe I need to get out more. This one is lovely. The lace on the sides is beautiful and the lace trim under the cups doesn't roll up as I was afraid it might. It also is not itcny for my sensitive skin! The double straps are nice too.
However, this isn't the first time I have encountered quality control problems with Chantelle. I bought one of these and then a second because I liked the first so much. There was a 1.5" difference in the band length of the two supposedly identical bras. I am returning the smaller one, not for the first time I have done this with Chantelle bras.
I also find that Chantelle's frimer cups tend to distort over time, resulting in unsightly lump.. I think the cups on the t-shirt, or other firmer-cup bras could be softer, which might help with some distortion problems that I have encountered with them. I carefully hand wash and store all of my bras, so I don't think that is the source of the problem.
I am frustrated that a higher-end lingerie manufacturer has such consistency problems. Nordstrom makes it easy to return items, of course, but it is still aggravating to have to do this with an article from a company with poor quality control.
