Rice and Geranium Foaming Cleanser

I got a sample today and didn't think much of it until I got home and tried it. I was very surprised how well it cleaned my skin and I hardly used any. It felt really different from other cleansers I used. My face felt really good after being washed. And I liked the smell and the feel of my skin. I am going back tomorow to pick this up. I am honestly surprised how neat this product is. It just feels different, gentle, extremely nice emolient lather, and I can't believe I am so happy and excited over a facial cleanser. It has a unique feel in use, and after washing it off. I wish I could explain it better. I recommend getting a sample and trying it. I am glad the lady gave me a sample or I never would have considered buying it. I already had a few cleansers at home. But after trying this, I like it better than my Murad, and Estee Lauder. It doesn't feel as abrasive and my skin felt healthy, clean, calm, hydrated and soft. My only wish is that it came in a huge pump type container. I want to wash my whole body with it.

I have combination skin and I have tried every cleanser on the market and they all dry the skin too much. This product is amazing. I don't even need a moisturizer after usint it. I just recently started to try Chantecaille and I LOVE it!

Non-oily, non-stripping, scent not too potent, cleanses easily. If your skin is combination, you will love the soft feeling after. It does not make skin taut as some others do. Don't let the tiny tube scare you. Using a size much smaller than a pea will be more than enough.

I first tried this cleanser over 8 years ago; it was a sample included with my cosmetic purchase. It was by far the nicest cleanser I had ever used. As other reviewers wrote, a tiny dab goes a long way. I can use half of a pea-size amount and it will foam into the most luxurious, creamy cleanser and is more than adequate to clean a full face of makeup. I had never considered it as an exfoliate, though. To me it does not have any kind of abrasive texture. I have extremely sensitive skin, so to read the reviews and descriptions regarding its "exfoliating" properties is surprising. Do not let its exfoliating benefits dissuade you from utilizing it at a daily cleanser. It is wonderful, lasts an incredibly long time, and is totally worth the price. Enjoy!!!

I am 48 yr old, living in Jacksonville, FL. My skin is normal - some fine lines, wrinkles, etc. I was looking for a cleanser that would feel good on my skin as well as take off my eye makeup (waterproof eyeliner and mascara). I read TONS of reviews for many different products and I tried several samples before purchasing. I tried, Chanel (burned my eyes when using for eye makeup remover), NUDE brand (not sold a Nordstrom) could not remove eye makeup, Soy - Fresh Face (did not do a great job with makeup remover), I tried Tatcha Pure One-Step Camellia Cleansing Oil (not from Nordstsrom) was just an oily mess, but did get my makeup off but did not make my face feel clean, and needless to say I was getting very frustrated! Finally, I tried this and was a bit hesitant about the price, but based on the reviews, a little bit goes a long way. That is no lie! I went into the store for a sample, and they put it in a that tiny little container and I was thinking I would get lucky to get 2 washes out of it well.... I actually got 6! Yes 6! Admittedly I don't wear lots of makeup except for waterproof eyeliner and mascara, but I'll tell you I'm a fan of Rice and Geranium Foaming Cleanser - a little dab really did take off my eye makeup completely and left my face feeling clean! Amazing. I took this with me when I went to Arizona on a trip, and they have hard water there - I did notice my face felt tighter than when I am at home (I have a water softener at home) however, I'm just let you decide as you will use the same water to wash face your face regularly. The directions for this say best for oily skin, but since I'm really good at using my moisturizers right after washing, I did not feel that it dried out my face. Regarding cost, it's pricey, but this little tube should easily last as long as my other ones, about 6 months! I use less than a pea sized amount for my face. I start with cleanser and a little water on my face, then begin at eyes, then add more water and get to rest of face with lots of foamy cleansing! And you even get a bit a gentle of exfoliating for every day! I hope this helped you!!! : )

This cleanser rinses clean and even removes most eye makeup without tugging or pulling. The scent is not overpowering .
