What it is: An advanced, luxurious cream rich in extracts that help promote retexturized and brighter-looking hands.
What it does: It's formulated with encapsulated retinol and Chilean tree bark extract, which support more even and younger-looking skin. It's also infused with powerful antioxidants and contains an abundance of ingredients that work together to moisturize, soothe and nourish skin.
How to use: Massage daily onto your hands, cuticles and wrists. Retinol-containing products are not recommended for pregnant women or nursing mothers.

The Best!
Since our hands reveal our age as much as our face, I tend to spend a fair amount on hand creams. Like all Chantecaille products, this hand cream is amazing. The Retinol evens out skin tone and keeps wrinkles at bay, and the lovely Rosewater-base scent is unobtrusive and pleasant. It also hydrates the hands quite well. I use this cream every other night before bed, and my hands have never looked better. I can't recommend this enough!

Read the ingredients!!
I used to love Chantecaille, but you really need to be aware of the ingredients. This hand cream contains TEFLON (Ptfe). The Environmental Working Group states teflon is “among the most worrisome” of chemicals used in products that come into regular contact with our skin and our bodies. Other sources state it's a known carcinogen. It's a lovely hand cream. Too bad it's not healthy to use.

The Best!

WSJ was right
I purchased this after a review in the Wall Street Journal of hand creams. This was rated the best, even though it was the most expensive. I have very dry hands in the winter, to the point they hurt. This creme smells great and works wonderfully. My hands never felt softer, no greasy feeling and the rosewater adds a nice aroma when you are applying it.

best hand cream ever!
I've tried every hand cream under the sun and this one is the best by far. My hands were looking very old and wrinkly one winter so I bought this and literally overnight I had hands that looked 20 years younger. The difference was incredible! The thing that impresses me the most is it's effectiveness, but it's also feels very nice to use. It goes on light - not greasy at all. it's very quickly absorbed but you still feel like your hands are soft so there is no need to keep reapplying all day like with other hand creams. I use it once in the morning and once at night and that's enough. It's pricey but lasts a long time because you don't need to use a lot of it - 1 tube lasts me all winter.

Works
I have been using this hand creme for several years receiving many compliments on the youthful appearance of my hands. At age 66, my hands are absent of brown spots. I keep the cream at my bedside for continual great results.

Effective
I normally would not pay as much for a hand cream, but in this case, I am on my second tube. My hands have not looked this good in years. The spots are barely visible. I am usually skeptical about product descriptions, but this one is right on!!

Very moisturizing, non-irritating
I suffer from winter related dry skin. It's not so much the cold climate (I live in Southern California) but the constant hand-washing to avoid cold and flu and general mild dryness that starts to do a number on my hands. I get flaky skin, then sometimes if I let it go too much, cracked and raw redness on the backs of my hands and knuckles.
I've tried everything from products like egyptian magic to coconut oil to prescription lotions I have tried from my dermatologist, but when I've used those on my hands it only keeps the problem from getting worse, it doesn't really heal or prevent the problem from happening.
This product does prevent and protect. It's ridiculously expensive (and I'm not exactly made of money) but it's a small price to pay for hands that don't hurt, aren't flakey and "old" looking and feel good even in the dead of winter.
No, this won't make your hands look magically "20 years younger" in one application. But it will help protect them and after a few weeks of use, you will see and feel younger looking skin on your hands, including the recession of crepey and papery skin.
