Pure Rosewater Face Mist

The description of the product says paraben free, but the ingredients list methylparaben. Thumbs down. This was presented to me as a clean natural brand by Nordstrom beauty counter and I’m super-disappointed.

I decided to try this product since I like my Chantecaille essence, and it turned out to be only a huge disappointment. I don't understand all other excited reviews... First, it doesn't spray well- water drops are too large and heavy, they run down on your face. Also, It has zero moisturising effect. I know it because I used Thalgo mist before this product. I'm not sure about the 'healing' and 'uplifting' effect yet, but this product only made me realizing how good Thalgo mist is.

I'm shocked that I haven't yet written a review about one of my all-time favorite beauty products. Chantecaille uses their Rosewater as the base for all their products, hence the amazing healing qualities of their line. I have fair skin which often has redness, and when I spritz my face with this Rosewater it immediately begins to soothe my skin and reduce the redness and inflammation. I'd previously tried Mario Badescu, but all of the bad ingredients that go with the very few good ones aren't worth it. People complaining about the scent were likely expecting a more perfumed/faux rose scent. I find all of their products to be incredibly lightly fragranced, and the natural Rosewater used is very subtle. No, it doesn't smell like a bouquet of red roses. And thank goodness, since those with sensitive skin would not benefit from added fragrance whatsoever. A couple times a week, I even use this Rosewater as my toner. I love using it prior to applying their Vital Essence Serum and Retinol Intense Cream at night. I generally use La Prairie, but immediately switch to Chantecaille when my skin is irritated, inflamed, or needs TLC. I catch myself spritzing my face several times a day with this delightful, revitalizing and healing spray. I simply can't say enough wonderful things about this incredible product.

I just received a sample of this wonderful Rosewater. It makes your skin feel glorious and the fragrance is truly heavenly. I will now order the full size and use the smaller one when I'm flying.

This stuff has METHYLPARABEN in it, so it's really not pure. Herbivore Botanicals Rose Hibiscus Hydrating Face Mist has nothing that is potentially harmful, comes in a glass bottle so no plastic leaching chemicals into your product, and it smells and feels lovely.

I’ve been waiting to write this review as I’ve recently stripped my currently line to layer in Chanticaille products to understand exactly how my skin would respond. My skin: 40 years old, Normal/Combination, sensitive and easily break out. Nano Gold Firming Treatment - Starting with this I didn’t see much difference the first week and because of stripping my skin of other products I actually felt I needed more moisture. The cream itself is fairly light and easy to absorb, not too heavy at all. However, after about a week WOW… I totally started to notice a difference using it by itself. My fine lines, pores looked so smooth. I have these weird lines by my lips that were nearly gone! …and ZERO breakout, in fact I feel it started to heal some discoloration. Pure Rosewater - Adding this lovely rosewater spray as an essence before my Nano gold was doing the trick. The perfect amount of added hydration and so incredibly refreshing. The smell is soft and just an overall really lovely experience to use. I also use half as much product using this as an essence, my products soak right in. Bio Lifting Serum + - This completed the package! By now it’s a little spendy but adding the rosewater and serum I’m using two drips of serum and 1 pump of nano which is cutting down my use significantly and the combo of these has boosted the results and my skin looks so full, smooth, firm the texture feels strong and I get compliments on my skin. I’ve stopped wearing foundation and I’m really shocked how these work together and I’m totally shocked my skin has not broke out or reacted. It’s worth it! Eyes: Nano Energizing Eye Serum - I did not like this, the roller application did not work well and the serum is too light and doesn’t feel moisturizing at all. I have to shake the container to get anything out and I guess I just like a little richness to my eye serum/cream. I did get a sample of the Nano Energizing Eye Cream, and I do think I like that better. I also received a sample of the Stress Repair Concentrate Eye and did seem to give my skin a bit of a reaction but felt nice. Lighter texture than the Nano Eye Cream.
