Luminescent Eye Shades

Although pricey, this one and done (unless you want to add more with other eyeshadow, which is also beautiful) is magnificent. I have Pangolin, which is a lilac-beige shade with gorgeous shimmers, and look forward to Crane, Elephant and Giraffe. I love the philanthropic side to Chantecaille, which is why I'm not mad at the higher price point. I'm lucky to have fallen in love with the endangered pangolin years ago and send money to conservation and breeding programs, so when I saw this (while they used such beautiful colors!) I knew I had to have it. Such fine powder, blends like heaven and is so buildable. You could seriously wear this in the office and then build it up a tiny bit more for unique, gorgeous evening wear. It's very long-lasting and can even be applied with your fingers, though a small brush is also easy. I can't wait to buy the others I mentioned. What a find.

If you wear contact lenses then beware of these eyeshadows as they are full of glitter. I had to remove one of my lenses when I wore this eyeshadow to rinse off a chunk of glitter that had got onto my lens and was scratching the surface of my eye. Personally I think these eyeshadows should come with a warning that they are not suitable for lens wearers! I will be returning this product as it was so expensive and I cannot safely use it.
