Silk in a Jar
On my latest trip to my local Nordstrom, I stopped at the Chantecaille counter and picked up a moisturizer. While being rang up, I noticed a plain, white little jar sitting on the edge of the glass counter. I picked it up and swatched it on my hand. From the moment I felt the texture, it felt like I had been rubbing the surface of a piece of Silk! Without even trying it on my lips, I purchased it and tried it the following night. I slept with is slathered on my lips and I woke up with perfect plump and kissable, soft lips! Definately the best kept secret from Chantecaille!!!

You've Got To Be Kidding!
This was handed to me by the mail person. At just 67 degrees outside, it was tilted spilling into the lid from it's itzy bitzy space. Knowing I was returning, I tried a couple centimeters of it to get an accurate opinion and, this is just a huge NO!
The feel, the plastic like rose scent horrible! At this price point and with Chantecaille's strong environmental integrity am completely shocked and disappointed at how bad this Lip Potion is.
Going back!

No Baume de Rose
I LOVE Chantecaille. I use many of their products, from their Rosewater to Retinol Intense, and all of their killer masks. Sadly, this purchase was a huge letdown.
I normally use By Terry Baume de Rose and La Mer The Lip Balm. I absolutely love Rose products, so I assumed I would love this lip balm. Unfortunately, it didn't live up to my expectations at all.
It's very thin, sticky, and much more of a gloss than a lip balm.The moment my finger touched the product, I Immediately knew it wasn't for me. My lips didn't feel anywhere near as hydrated as they do with the other products I use, listed above. It also has a sickeningly sweet smell and taste, which I find highly unpleasant. Given the thin texture of the product, it's ridiculously small and overpriced for what you get. Even the cheap plastic packaging was a fail. I'll be sticking (no pun intended) to By Terry and La Mer.

Phenomenal Restorative Product!
battle chapped lips constantly-this product used once/day totally heals them! I used to use Lancome Lip Primordial-they discontinued it sadly. I have spent years trying to find something as good-FINALLY!

My holy grail!
I was completely ready to be let down by this product.
I’m always searching for something to help because my lips stay so chapped, & I’m a picker so I usuyemd up making myself bleed.
Most lip products are too much of a gloss, too waxy, or minty (which I hate).
This is none of those things!
Extremely light weight; almost like a heavy gloss texture, but not a gloss.
It instantly softened my lips & lasted easy 3 times longer than any cheap chapstick I keep on hand.
Especially now, under the masks when you go out; it’s not sticky or heavy one bit

pampering moisture for lips
The texture was a little runnier than I expected but this balm really moisturizes. It feels gritty when you first put it on, but the grit melts after a few minutes, leaving a soft, pampered feel on the lips. I would definitely get this again.
