Kalimantan Parfums Pour Femme

I love florientals and so many have been corrupted by bright, sharp, obviously synthetic notes over the last couple of decades. My favorite cold-weather fragrance, Jil Sander No. 4 Perfume, had been discontinued. So began a multi-year search to find “the one”. Finally, that toe curling “what is that wonderful smell ???” reaction from both myself and my husband. This is extremely well-balanced so that the florals and are never overwhelmed by the woods. It could be gender neutral for the right person. I love it on its own but have been layering it with a couple of my more floral warm-weather scents and am so happy with this! The silage isn’t shy, but won’t overwhelm, and settles down to a chic all-day smolder.

This is a wonderfully lasting fragrance. I wore it and was sent a lovely text from a dear friend saying she could still smell my perfume on her after a farewell hug. She said the scent was incredible on me. She is almost 70 years old and said this was one of the most beautiful fragrances she has ever smelled. To me it has a heavier note of musk which I find perfect for the cooler months. This was my first fragrance purchase from Chantecaille and I look forward to buying more scents for other seasons and occasions.

I bought this perfume for my 50th birthday. The perfume smells like fall to me. It's like wearing a warm sweater sitting by a fire on a winter evening. The fragrance lasts a long time. I smell sandalwood, patchouli, and vanilla. It's a feminine spicy smell. I think this is the best Chantecaille scent. I would recommend for a bold and confident women.
