What it does: This unique 3-in-1 skin perfector provides excellent coverage, smoothes fine lines and protects and enhances the complexion with a subtle tint. Antioxidant botanical extracts including edelweiss, honeysuckle and green tea soothe skin and protect against toxins, while sodium hyaluronate helps seal in skin's moisture. The result is a clean, refined and natural finish.
How to use: Dispense onto clean fingertips or a foundation brush and gently smooth over the whole face, as well as the neck and décolletage for additional coverage.

The one.
Quick review: Great product for someone who doesn't want to look like they're wearing makeup AND is okay with showing flaws. If you're going for an enhanced "flaws-and-all" look, then it's an incredible tinted moisturizer. If you want a flawless face, this won't cut it unless your skin is perfect.
Detailed review: For the first two days I was on the fence because the consistency is much thicker than I was expecting. However, after a few days of trial and error, I learned how much product to use and what application method looks best on my skin (less than a pea size; downward application with fingers, then patting with fingers to make it really meld into my skin).
My goal is to enhance the skin I have, not hide it. I don't have great skin thanks to teenage acne and the sun, but this manages to lessen my imperfections while simultaneously letting me look naturally glow-y. For reference, it's thicker than Laura Mercier and Bobbi Brown tinted moisturizers, but is somehow sheerer and more flattering on my skin. It doesn't cause flaking around my nose, and my face moves more freely.
I have young kids and time is of the essence every morning. In under five minutes I can apply Chantecaille's Just Skin, cheek shade, eye shimmer, LM caviar stick, LM mascara and LM brow definer. They're all easy to apply and don't require a lot of precision to look great. I just don't have 20-30 minutes every day to put on a face, and these products allow me to look nice without a lot of effort.
Dark blonde hair with reddish-gold tones; grey/blue eyes; fair skin with red undertones. Bliss works for me. It doesn't match my pale neck (personal preference), but there's not even a hint of a makeup line on my jaw.

Was excited about getting this , but unfortunately did not work for me. Not dewy or glowing just dull and drying. Sent back for return

I recently switched to using tinted moisturizer rather than foundation (yes even in the office) to cut down on the over-made-up look. I heard about this in a new york times article about beauty during fashion week and so I tried it - previously I had been using Laura Mercier which is decent, but I don't think I'll go back. The coverage is of course light but I use it with a primer or transluscent powder and it makes me look like I have good skin (which I don't, my pores are huge, i have freckles and not the cute kind, and my skin is extremely dry). There is an illuminating property but it's not sparkly, the color is perfect for me, I have fair skin and used porcelain in LM - I got alabaster and while I was afraid it would make me look like a mime, it turned out to be perfect. For reference I use mont blanc in NARS and the lightest color in smashbox foundation/concealer. Definitely you should use a moisturizer first, this is not a one-stop product. I don't think any of them are. But I found it to be just as moisturizing and easy to apply as LM. What it has over LM is that it settles into your skin more and doesn't look like a sunscreen applied on top the way LM can. Also the shade is more natural and the texture is better, it makes my skin glow and gives the appearance of an even skin tone. I love it. Also, it stays put better. But I would recommend a primer or setting powder- it'll last all day that way.

Lovely. light, but not moisturizing
This should NOT be called a tinted moisturizer, because while it is a lovely, very sheer foundations--and if you have sensitive, Rosacea-prone skin like mine, it won't break you out--it doesn't have a moisturizing atom in it's wonderful little tube (I love the idea of getting every little bit out--especially at this price). I'm very fair, got the lightest shade and it's perfect. Doesn't sink into pores, doesn't get flaky later (but it will start out that way if you put it over dry patches without moisturizing first). Does well with powder or without on top. Love it. You do have to work fast with it for it to blend well. Don't overapply.

Amazing
I was interested in Chantecaille's products as they are one of the few companies who do not animal test their products (see NAVS if you are interested in who tests/and who doesn't).
This item is amazing. It says skin tint but actually provides good coverage. It does not sink into fine lines. Creamy and felt moisturizing which is wonderful for my dry skin.
I am very fair. In most lines I wear Ivory. In this line I wear alabaster.
Definitely worth trying!

Not for me
I was very excited to try this but it just wasn't for me. I got the bliss color for my fair skin with pink undertones and found this had very little payoff on my skin. It really was just skin I guess. This cover nothing. Not that I need coverage per se as I have clear skin but an evening out of tone would have been nice. This was really like a moisturizer with no moisture or a primer. It went back, not for me.

great light foundation
I kept trying to find a light but enough coverage to even out skin tone product and I found this. I like Chantecaille already, and although this does have some chemical ingredients it's one of the better tinted moisturizers/BB/CC creams. Try it and wear for at least 20 mins before deciding on what color, they do oxidize and get darker. I was originally matched with Nude but it turned way too dark. I got Bliss instead, which is perfect. (I'm N30-35, Giorgio Lasting silk 5-5.5) Though in summer I may need to mix Bliss and Nude together. I guess that's the only downside, colors are ho hum, wish they had more variations. Also I find this better than their gel foundation, and more hygienic as well. I have normal/dry skin so this works for me even in warmer climates. The minimal spa is better than nothing so I just got a sample of the spf45 primer and they go GREAT together, more mattifying and polished looking, great for a higher makeup day.
