Jasmine and Lily Healing Mask

I have suffered from rosacea for 15 years. My skin was so dry and chafed and easily irritated. When I would try to cover the red blotches with concealer you could see the flakiness of my dry skin. It was awful. My sister convinced me to try Chantecaille. I remember looking at my skin after 20 minutes of using the jasmine and lily healing cream the first time and being in disbelief. The redness,dry skin, and flakiness were gone. I have used the product religously now for 10 years. People don't believe me that I have rosacea. I get so many compliments. I have recommended this product to dozens of people. It is a life saver, especially if you take in to much sun, or travel a lot and get dehydrated flying. I use it as a nighttime moisturizer and as a mask (thicker application) as needed. It did sting the first time I used it and I was concerned but I have not had that happen since. It is great in combination with the fruit and enzyme mask, as my skin cannot tolerate and scrubs. This product was really life changing for me.

This stuff is magic. Redhead with rosacea. Contact with the pillow case at night turns my cheeks red. I used to use Dr Hauschka Soothing Mask every night to create a cheek barrier. Not anymore. This stuff blows Dr Hauschka away. Better than that by using this entire line my rosacea is so much calmer I don't even have to apply this every night to keep it at bay. Best sensitive mask ever and I've tried dozens.

A couple of months ago, I received a sample of a very expensive mud mask from a popular cosmetics store. It burned my skin so badly I had to go to the Dr and go on prednisone. I have rather thick mediterranean type skin, usually somewhat oily (but no wrinkles, which makes up for the oily part) and mild rosacea. Well after the mask disaster, my face was super dry and vividly red with a burning itch. The Dr gave me a cortisone Rx cream, which did nothing, and which I did not like to use on my face. I spent most of my days for two weeks with ice packs on my face. Then I remembered I had a sample of this amazing face mask and decided to give it a try. I cannot describe the soothing relief it gave me. I ordered a new jar at once and used this about 3 times a day after splashing cold water on my face. Every day, my face became better, and now it looks amazing. The skin is plump, firm, not too oily & not dry, thank goodness, and the redness is completely gone. I am so happy with this I bought the Essence Vitale and the emulsion, and am using the emulsion in the morning and this mask for a night cream. After years of red splotches on my ultra sensitive skin, I was pretty much tired of trying. I was using Giorgio Armani and liked it, but felt a little stinging and the redness seemed to be getting worse. When I ran out, I did a ton of research and decided to try this (as well as the Jasmine and Lily emulsion). WOW! After just one use, the redness was almost entirely gone. I figured I was experiencing placebo affect, so I've waited a month before posting. Yes, I was a little over-enthused. The red areas aren't GONE, but no one besides me and my magnifying mirror could tell. My skin is so calm and happy. The moisturizing of both are great without being at all oily. Makeup goes on so much better and stays longer. The fragrance is my morning and night joy.

I've become a big fan of Chantecaille products, and this mask made me fall deeper in love. I'd received a deluxe sample in the Anniversary Set, and knew immediately I needed the full-size product. Well, it happened to arrive on a day when my skin was particularly angry. My cheeks were flaming red and hot to the touch, I had a large pimple on my chin (ah, hormones), and I was literally a hot mess. I cleansed, toned, and applied this mask which I left on for nearly an hour. Since the instructions indicate that the mask can be worn overnight, I wasn't concerned about a measly hour. It instantly cooled my red-hot face, and is a joy to apply. You actually don't need a ton of product to apply a thick layer, so the jar will last longer than you'd think. I sat and relaxed for an hour, and enjoyed the mask's cooling, soothing, and healing properties. I didn't hesitate to apply it on my pimple as well. The scent is very light and pleasant. It's also incredibly easy to wash off using a soft washcloth and warm water. All the redness was gone, and my skin felt smooth and supple. I finished with serum and went to sleep. My pimple was very small the next morning, as if this mask needed to be more fantastic! There simply aren't enough good things to say about this product. It's great for all skin types and I can't imagine being without it.

First, it's VERY OILY and is HEAVILY perfumed with the smell of white Lily, which is not relaxing to me, it reminds me of funerals!!! Anyway, my skin has been very good lately since I starting a really good exfoliation and treatment regimen, but a bit dry as of late with winter here so, when I got this as a free sample with purchase, I decided to give it a go. When I rinsed it off, I saw 5 pores looking very red and irritated, and my knowing my skin that is a pimple in the making! NB that my skin was completely clear before applying this product! I quickly washed every trace of it off with my best cleansers and applied AHA/BHA cream and topical acne antibiotic that I only use in dire pimple emergencies to try to nip the damage in the bud, but it was too late, one became a cystic pimple, ON MY CHEEK, a place where I never get acne. Right after I used this product I was actually pretty depressed and kept muttering to myself, "stupid sample!" RUN AWAY FROM THIS PRODUCT!!! Yikes!!!!
