Best foundation
I have been using Chanel Vitalumiere foundation for years. I use it over a moisturizer and it blends in nicely with my natural skin color. As it is not a matte foundation, it leaves a healthy-looking glow to the face. I never have to touch it up during the day. I highly recommend this foundation.

Disappointing!
I was very disappointed in this foundation. After using Bare Minerals Original Foundation in Fairly Light for over ten years, I was looking for a change. Tired of the powdery mess that comes with my usual foundation, I was looking for a moisturizing liquid foundation with medium to full coverage. Unfortunately, I found that this foundation was very sheer, and did not cover any imperfections or even help to even out my skin tone. My husband thought that I was not even wearing makeup (and not in a good way). My second major issue with this foundation was that they do not offer shades for very pale, fair skin. As previously mentioned, I use the Fairly Light shade in Bare Minerals, which works seamlessly with my skin tone. The lightest shade offered in the Vitalumiere was "07" Ivoire, which appeared very light online. However, when I received it, the shade was actually very dark in comparison to the picture online. It made me look like I had been out in the sun all day and suffered a sunburn. I wouldn't call this a foundation, it was more like a tinted moisturizer.

Best foundation

Amazing!
I picked up a sample of this in a beige 30. This color was amazing on me. I needed something with more yellow tones, hydrating for my dry skin, luminous/dewy. This is all of the above! I was amazed how much it brightened my face. Not heavy at all. So far this is the only foundation I have found that really matched my skin tone. There are foundations out there that make your skin way to shiny. This doesn't do that at all. I wouldn't recommend this for oily skin but definitely for dry/mature skin. I hope you give this foundation a try like I have. I'm definitely buying a bottle of this and it's worth the price!

best foundation
I’ve used this for years and although I’ve tried other foundations here and there - this is hands down the best foundation I have ever used. I have dry/dehydrated and sometimes combo skin and this fits the bill perfectly. It really hydrates my dry skin, especially when I’m using retinol and suffering from dry patches. And it’s not TOO moisturizing for my seasonally combo skin. It blurs imperfections and minimizes pores like NOTHING ELSE. It even softens my nasolabial fold (laugh lines) so tremendously that I don’t feel as self conscious about them. I can’t praise this foundation enough, it is without a doubt holy grail status for me.

Flawless
This foundation is the best thus far. I’ve tried Mac, Nars, Bobbi, everything but I can’t find anything better. It’s expensive but lasts me a while because I only wear makeup for special occasions. This foundation makes your skin flawless and isn’t heavy noticeable. It makes your skin look amazing.

lovely but not my favorite
I just got this and wore it all day; to me it's lovely, but very thin and I had to apply more than I'm used to with other foundations.
I would probably have loved it had I not discovered its counterpart--the Chanel Vitalumier Aqua compact foundation, which I LOVE. So, compared to that one, this one didn't quite measure up.
If you like a light, thin liquid, this might be wonderful for you. I'm hooked on the compact version!
