Best Ever Lipstick
I have three of these and counting.. Sensual Rose is a soft, matt, medium pink, a very natural-only slightly- darker than my lips color, but it makes them look perfectly natural, requiring only the lightest application. Coral-Peach, is as it says. It has a definite, but very soft sheen to it, nothing sparkly or too much shine. However it does not cover as well as I would like without applying quite a lot of it. The other one I have is Deep Rose. This is another matt finish, with great coverage. Similar to Sensual Rose, but about two shades darker, with a hint of mauve and blue. Definitely a winter color. It is a bit too dark for me, but if I blend it with the Coral Peach, I get a very pretty "Brick" color. This product is shockingly good, and truly does last hours, without those harsh lines appearing at the edges of my lips. I have been wearing lipstick for over 40 years and this is without reservation the best lip product I have ever used.

Hurts my lips
Unfortunately, my lips became very sensitive and hurt after using this product. I have never had this reaction to any lip product previously. But if this product doesn't irritate your lips, the color Rose Quartz is truly gorgeous and definitely worth the purchase. The lip color has great, strong pigment. Had my lips not had a bad reaction, I would have loved this product.

Absolute best long wear lip color
I am a great fan of Chanel makeup, but this is their triumph. I've tried all the drugstore brands of long wear lip color, along with department store brands.
Chanel makes the very best one.
This product really and truly lasts--all day and all night, even through eating most food, though the very inside of your lips will fade color after eating foods such as corn on the cob or fried chicken. This is where the Chanel brand excels:
Chanel's ultra wear lip colour is the ONLY brand that can be reapplied without needing to use "battery acid" to remove the current application. If you try to add more color to Mac or Maybelline, within an hour, huge flakes will start peeling off your lips. That looks awful, and it creates a huge problem, because you cannot easily remove those lip colors and then start over--especially when you're out and about and without an oil-based makeup remover! But Chanel is forgiving and WILL let you apply more color over the areas that are fading off. I rarely need to do that, but especially with the darker colors, I want a perfect puss all day long!
Every morning in the shower, I use a soapy washcloth that completely removes the lip color from the day before--yes! it does really last through the night, and it really does wash off (after many hours of wear)! Then my lips are clean and exfolliated, ready for a new application for another 24 hour's worth of wear.
Another plus for Chanel is that this lip color is NOT drying. Other brands are, to be sure.
The only negative comment I have is that it's a total crapshoot to choose a color on line. The actual lip color is so far off of what's shown in the color samples, you simply cannot make an informed choice.
I own Rose Morganite--a brownish rather dark red
Rose Topaz--the most natural shade--it's just a richer version of a neutral non-pale lip color. It's not brown or berry or pink, but more the color of a smoked ham, if you will.
Rose Quartz--this one is my biggest disappointment. It's a tough color to wear--a very cool-toned pink-fleshed look. I'm a true neutral, with German and Hungarian roots, so a cool or overly-warm tone makes me look sick and tired. This is not a good shade on me!
Ruby Lite--this is such a great neutral red! It isn't at all dark, which can be scary to men...This is a clear, bright, clean red that covers completely, but doesn't look dense.
Alexandrite--similar to Ruby Lite, but not as flattering on me. There is just a teeny bit of warmth to this shade that can make it look too "solid" against my skin, so it borders on being harsh on me. Ruby Lite is brighter and lighter.
This is a long wearing lip color that really works well in every way possible. I plan to eventually try every color!

Best I've Found
I'm 63. This is the best lipstick I'v ever worn and since finding it 2 years ago, I will never pay a dime for anything else. The cost is well worth it because once you apply it, it stays on and looks great for hours--even through eating a meal. Truly, before I'd be disappointed because either I'd use matte, which stayed on longer but feels dry, or a creamy lipstick, which felt great but wears off in no time. This feels good and stays on for hours and hours. Oh, and one more thing--I'm too frugal to throw it out with unused lipstick in the bottom of the tube. I've gone through about 4 tubes because I wear it and nothing else, but I get one of those thin wood coffee stirrers and reach down in the bottom to use all of it. Yes, it'd be better if Chanel provided a longer wand, but I still give it 5 starts because of its quality.

WOWZER what a pink
I bought shocking pink in LA for a party and could not BELIEVE this lipstick. I sent at least four friends to the Chanel counter to try these out, they're simply amazing. They dry quickly and soooo smoothly. The color is NOT coming off, folks. One of my friends texted me later, "An atom bomb isn't taking this stuff off my face." I can't tell you how sexy I felt in neon, hot, Shocking Pink. Get the fuchsia lip liner to really complete the look. This stuff slays any other brand trying to sell me a lip stain and I'm tempted to throw all mine away and never stray from Chanel. I didn't know lipstick could get so good and I thought it was going to be about double the price. I am SUCH a happy customer!

Go-to lip color
This Ultra Wear Lip Colour is true to it's name, "ultra wear!" It has become my daily lip color. I bought four shades, and this is how I would describe them from lightest to darkest:
Rose Quartz is the lightest color, yet not light. It's a medium-light lavender-violet shade (mauve) good for daywear. Similar to a Caucasian lip. I enjoy wearing it, but admit it is a little drab. I would prefer more of a lighter California Barbie pink.
Rosestone is a shimmery medium pink-violet. I'd say it is a more feminine shade than Rose Quartz. Easy to wear day into night.
Alexandrite and Ruby Lite are very close in shade, both with blue tones, but Ruby Lite has more blue.
Alexandrite is a medium/deep red-orange-violet (similar to brick red).
Ruby Lite is a medium/deep shimmery red-violet (similar to a Ruby).
