ROUGE ALLURE INK Matte Liquid Lip Colour

I am wearing CHANEL ROUGE ALLURE INK Matte Liquid Lip Colour #182 COLD PURPLE. I only applied it once and used a lip brush to give it an even look, I also have a blackberry in my teeth to show the lip color is not as deep as a blackberry and to show how matte the lip color is. Applying another layer of the matte lip color will make it deeper. I am very pleased with the color. Photo 2 on my nails I am wearing CHANEL LE VERNIS LONGWEAR NAIL COLOR #578 NEW DAWN, it is now day 6 with no fade or chip of the nail color, I also have a clear top coat on my nails. I initially bought Choquant and after I wore it, I purchased Experimente. The formula is a bit like the YSL stains, but more comfortable over time, and it doesn't have the perfumy smell and bitter taste of YSL. It takes several minutes to set, so there's a bit of time to play around with application. I usually put on a thin layer, wait a few minutes, and apply another. It's definitely not as unforgiving as lot of liquid lipsticks in terms of having to be very precise and working quickly. It eventually sets as a matte finish.

This is a great product. It is not drying and applies well. The only reason why I took off two stars is because these aren't matte like the product claims. I would associate it more as a well pigmented and long lasting lip gloss than a matte liquid lipstick. I purchased two different colors and they both have the same gloss-like effect.

I just bought this lip stain in color 154. Wow this is amazing. Honestly I have never been a lipstick person and have never even worn a red lipstick. Boy did I jump in with both feet with this color! The formula is very nice and the perfect matte! I feel so glamorous! High end products sure can stand out in quality and this is no exception.

I have been searching for a nude/pink lip ink, and most of them are either too bare or too pink. This color matches my lip color perfectly, enhancing it. I do use a liner with it, but the combo of the two lasts for several hours, and is freshened by either a gloss or a similar moisturizing lip stick. I'm 62, so finding something that doesn't immediately bleed into the lip lines is critical. This does the trick. I purchased a rosier color, but haven't tried it yet...but very happy with this product. The more I use Chanel makeup, the more convinced I am that it is worth the very high price. The longevity, ease of application, smoothness and color pays off, especially on my 62 year old skin.
