Best matte formula

I immediately purchased a full size after getting a sample of True Red and falling in love with the formulation. This liquid lip is very matte, but not drying at all! I was shocked, I usually hate matte lipsticks. It still looks decent after a meal, and would probably last all day if I were super careful. True Red is a pretty universal shade, but as I have fair skin with pink undertones, I usually look for a red with cool/blue or pink undertones. I decided to try Deep Pink, and love it! It still reads as red, but I think the undertones flatter my skin tone more.

Tried new lipstick

I had been trying the Chanel Le Rouge Duo Ultra Tenue. I added this one to my order this time. When I first tried it, it seemed to be dried up. Barely any came out of the container. I was not pleased with this product since it is not cheap. It just does not seem to have hardly any lipstick in the container. I have to keep swabbing around to get any lipstick out of it. I wondered if it had been on the shelf too long. It is a darker shade than the Sensual Rose of the other one, Le Rouge.

Lovely and rich color. Stays put under a mask!

I miss wearing my favorite Chanel lipstick and was ready to try out this matte liquid formula. Shown here is the Deep Pink color and a little goes a long way. Under my mask, it smudged a teeny tiny bit around the lip line but stayed put. Matte lipstick may not be for everyone but I like how it layered just fine over my lipbalm. This will be my go-to Chanel lipstick for wearing under masks.
