Great basic cover color
I use this product (Sable color) as a highlighter under the brows and, when I want to wear simple makeup, as an overall cover for the eyelid. It's just enough to brighten the eyes without getting noticeable. I will also use it as a base color for other colors when I put on full eye color. It's a staple in my makeup kit and probably always will be.

Very disappointed
I love almost everything CHANEL, but this was a major disappointment. I purchased three colors. All of them are so sheer, it's like I am not wearing anything. I do use a base, which greatly brings out the color in every brand, except this one. It's as though this formula is "base resistant". I applied layer upon layer, first with the sponge applicator and then with a brush, and the color does not build whatsoever. The formula is extremely dry. I can't believe that in this modern era, one of the top beauty brands is still making eyeshadow that is dry like fine sand. I don't have dry eyelids/dry skin whatsoever. I don't even recall, in my 41 years of life, ever owning an eyeshadow that went on so dry! I honestly don't get why CHANEL can't produce some decent eyeshadows. They need to lose all the crazy sparkles in everything too and introduce some variety to their customers.

Too Much Sparkle and Too Drying
I am a very faithful Chanel customer and was looking forward to the new shadows, unfortunately we have yet another product on the market for the 40-45 and under crowd, as this is sparkle galore and I do not think this formula as anywhere near the caliber of the old Chanel quads with the square powders.

So in love with this purple , not too vibrant actually, great smooth easy to use eyeshadow , got hooked on Chanel mascara and this one ,makes green eyes greener . I will get a backup! recommend for someone who Doesn’t want it too bright and colorful

FABULOUS EYESHADOW
This eyeshadow is the best of the best! Super pigmented, and such a gorgeous color to wear and surprisingly it’s great for an everyday look! You can wet the brush a bit if you want it darker, or if you want more of a muted tone, keep the brush dry and apply from the inside of the eye, out. It’s so versatile and I can’t wait to keep buying more Chanel!!!
