Wow is all I can say
I was shocked (and pleased) at how strong this lotion was. It's more of a body milk than a lotion, very light and liquidy formula. It's not super moisturizing, yet somehow smooths the skin very nicely. The fragrance is so strong you really don't need to layer with #5 perfume, unless maybe you want to touch up later. Cute bottle too, very classic Chanel!

not like the perfume
I’ve loved Chanel No.5 for too many decades. It’s always been my favorite since high school when the girls wore white go go boots and smelled like babies. I have purchased and been gifted the cream in the past and found it to be very similar to the perfume but lighter and rich. This doesn’t smell like Chanel No.5 to me. I may be a good moisturizer though.

chanel no 5 body lotion
absolutely the most luxurious body lotion, that imparts the infamous chanel #5 scent, that lingers all day and into the night! Feels silky on the skin, absorbs instantly, does not affect clothing, and the best part is, you don't even need to layer it with chanel #5 perfume!

Surprised
With all the glowing reviews, I feel a tiny bit guilty writing mine. The lotion is lovely...no complaints there. However, the scent..... when first applied, well, it's simply awful. Approximately 40 minutes later, it smells somewhat better but so faint. I bought this for the scent. I usually put lotion on my arms and hands before going to bed to enjoy the scent as I drift off. Maybe there's something wrong with the bottle I received. Will use it on my legs...further from my nose....till gone. I won't purchase this again. I was so looking forward to receiving this. A complete let down.

Lovely
I wear Chanel Eau Premier and love it. However I wanted a lotion to layer it with. I was told by a Nordstrom rep that the Premier can be paired with this lotion. I discovered I LOVED the scent of this lotion so much that now I just wear the lotion and not the scent. I think the lotion does overpower the Premier. I also like that the bottle has a screw type cap and not a pump style. This makes it easier for me to toss in my travel bag.

Love #5
I love chanel #5 and purchased the body lotion, bath, and powder and love them. It extends the fragrance of the perfume longer then the 6hrs. If you are a #5 lover as I am you will love the combo. Nice light scent not over powering. I gave it 4 stars because there's always room for improvement in anything.

Great body lotion
I like to smell good and with the bath gel, body lotion and perfume, I feel good about myself even on a crowded train.
