wonderful bath soap
No 5 bar soap is just a great bath soap. It smells great, clean, floral, and with that perfect No 5 fragrance. It really picks me up in the shower. The soap lasts a really long time if you keep it dry between showers. I get a new bar about every 5 months and wouldn't want to be without it!

Non fragrant soap!
I was looking forward to receiving this soap, and had high hopes for the Chanel 5 fragrance, but sadly there was not a bit of that fragrance in this soap. Very overpriced for what I received! I should have returned it, but I threw away the box!

The Chanel No 5 "Egg" bath soap
Love the soap, soft, creamy, easy to rinse, lovely fragrance of course merits 5 stars.
But, who on earth does Chanel product testing these days? (Check out the awful No 5 bath power packaging!) The new egg shape No. 5 soap is hard (read impossible if you have small to medium size hands) to hold on to. Feels like Humpty Dumpty just moved in. This soap requires one's full attention to use and our standing joke is that whoever drops the soap first in the morning cleans the shower. We prefer soap, but will probably switch over to the shower rinse. Maybe Chanel will get enough complaints to switch back to the old functional shape.

Different shape, same scent
I preferred the square shape. That is why I ordered it from Nordstrom . The oval shape does not last as long. I have tried it already. I wonder if the square one is no longer available. I do like the scent very much.

Chanel No 5 Bath Soap
This is my second bar; my first one lasted nearly 3 months. I used it every night although I did use regular kinds of soap for my feet! The name says it all - the scent is beautiful & light, my skin felt so soft afterwards, that I didn't need lotion. To me, this soap is definetly worth $25. You will not be sorry to try this.
