Perfection
The best foundation I ever used was Chanel Vitalumiere in Nude. When I went to repurchase it I found it was discontinued. Since then I have tried every foundation on the market and none could come close to the Vitalumiere in color or application. Not many cosmetic manufacturers seem to understand the unique problems women over 64 have. I read some reviews about Lift Lumiere and decided to give it a try. I noticed other stores had different colors in this product and found the names too confusing. Nordstroms was the only store that had a simple color chart. I asked a consultant what color I should use that would come close to the .05 Nude and she suggested 20 Claire for my fair complexion, pink undertones, blond highlighted hair, and blue eyes. I have used this product for the past week and I love it. I don't have to look any further for a foundation. It works wonders. Not sure about the firming, but the smoothing is wonderful and it leaves the skin with a dewy fresh look. It seems to erase wrinkles and fine lines, and only you know they are there. Some reviewers say they don't put a face powder over it, I have tried that but prefer to lightly brush a white powder over for a real finished look. It takes about 10 minutes for the foundation to work its magic. So, if it doesn't look perfect when you just apply it, give it time. It lasts all day even in the hot, humid Houston climate. I have found the Chanel products to work best on me at my age--they seem to understand what we need. Another nice feature, you can apply a little or a lot and still look good. The pump is very good and easy to use.

Too Shiny
I've been trying to find a replacement for the perfect Chanel foundation that was discontinued a year or two ago. Can't remember the exact name (they all sound so similar). I guess Chanel would say this has a dewy or luminescent finish, but on me, it just looks shiny, almost greasy, and never seems to really dry. Also, it only provides light coverage, and using more only exacerbates the shine. I prefer a more matte look. This is going back, and the search continues.

10 Stars!!
Best quality makeup in every way. I have very difficult skin: dry, adult acne on chin, wrinkles, large pores and some crepey areas. After 3 months of searching for a replacement to my old ($200.00) foundation, I accidentally found the Lift Lumiere.
Beautiful finish. Cover scars, doesn't accentuate pores, wrinkles or crepey areas and feels like I'm not wearing anything. Stays on all day & can blend out to a very light coverage. Colors are natural although not a wide range.

Awesome!
I LOVE THIS FOUNDATION! I HAVE USED OTHER FOUNDATIONS AND KEEP COMING BACK TO CHANEL. NOW THAT I'M OLDER, I NEEDED SOMETHING THAT WAS NOT TOO MATTE. MATTE FOUNDATIONS SHOW MY AGE. I KEPT RUNNING INTO FOUNDATIONS THAT WERE TOO LUMINOUS. I DON'T CARE FOR A SHINY LOOK AND THIS ONE IS NOT TOO SHINY. IF FEELS LIGHT, MOISTURIZING, NATURAL AND LOOKS FLAWLESS. IT IS ALSO BUILDABLE IF YOU WISH.
MY SKINTONE IS LIGHT TO MEDIUM.
I USE 30 CENDRE INTENSITY 2.5. WHEN I FIRST TRIED IT, I THOUGHT THIS HAS TOO MUCH YELLOW. THEN I KEPT BLENDING IT AND IT JUST VANISHED. PERFECT!
LADIES TRY IT!

Looking good
Love this foundation but have a real issue with the packaging. The translucent bottle makes it extremely difficult to know when you are running low and need to purchase a new bottle. A transparent bottle would seem much more sensible for makeup.

Love, Love, Love this make-up!!
I feel I'm somewhat of a make-up addict. I feel the need to try anything and everything out there. Saying this, I love this foundation and don't feel the need to keep trying to find the perfect one.. My skin color is somewhat hard to match and there is a color in the Lift Lumiere formula that is a perfect match for each of the seasons. It also goes on very smoothly giving a nice coverage yet doesn't feel the least bit heavy.

love this one
Ok I originally stopped on my trip down south (southern California) to purchase the matte lumire after trying last summer & liking it & to get a sample of this& perfection lumire but sadly the whole store was out of sample pots (pitty for those who live hundreds of miles away & have to order online) but a lovely girl working at the chanel counter offered to apply them to see wich I liked (never had makeup applied by someone else before so that was an interesting experiance..anyways..Once the lift was applied it was over..it covered all my redness & broken capillaries without feeling heavy.wasnt super dewy either like I expected but still moisturizing enuf not to make my flaky nose corners show up...in fact I was thinking it be more like a tinted mositurizer.nope.this is almost full coverage with a wonderful glow without being a shiny glow..lasts as long as my double wear& matches better too. I am sadly in love& for the first time in my life will repurchase before I even get close to running out. .just a bit pricy& wish the bottle reflected that (comes in a slightly pinky opaque plastic bottle not glass like matte&perfection)
