What it is: An essential nail treatment that moisturizes cuticles and keeps them from drying out.
What it does: Featuring repairing and smoothing properties, the treatment is formulated to reduce the appearance of imperfections on nails. Camellia ceramides provide a protective layer and during use, the gel texture transforms into a hydrating oil.

How to use: Apply a drop of the treatment onto each nail and massage to help absorb. Use the beveled applicator to push back cuticles. Repeat daily to keep cuticles moisturized and nails visible nourished.

Solved peeling nails
My nails started peeling at the ends when I reached my third trimester of pregnancy. I tried some drugstore products but saw no improvement. I ordered this on a whim and saw a huge improvement after one use. I use it consistently a couple times a week and my nails look and seem strong now. A little goes a long way! I know there are cheaper options out there, but this stuff really works.

Doesn’t work.
The oil doesn’t soften the area around the nails. The bottle design is good but that doesn’t help your nails.

Nail oil
I got this over the weekend in store and was super excited since I tend to have dry cuticles. I’ve used it a couple of times and am hoping it gets better. The smell is very very strong. I usually like Chanel’s fragrance and never have a problem with other products smell (skincare or makeup). The applicator tip is somewhat strange, it forces a lot of the gel out and is spongelike but hard. I ended up just putting one squirt onto one nail and then using that to rub into the others with my fingers. The applicator sponge seems pointless. Lastly, I notice no difference in my cuticles. I have another brand lemon butter cream that is way better.

Meh, not worth the splurge
This winter weather has been terrible damage to my cuticles, and as I have had lots of luck with other Chanel products, I had high expectations for this one. While I like the fact that it isn’t greasy, the moisturizing factor is short-lived. I’ve had just as good of luck, perhaps even more, with drugstore brand cuticle oil. I’ll save my money for Chanel nail polish.
