Perfect for Blush
I have sold & gotten rid of my entire makeup brush collection as I head into a life of travel & retirement. Any item that I keep must have extreme value & purpose or it won’t stay. I agree with other reviewers that this brush is entirely smaller than one would expect—and the pics showing its relative size to a lip product is wonderfully informative. Knowing how small it was, I ordered this brush with the intent of using it for blush. I found this to be perfect for that exact purpose. I swipe the cream stick (Chanel) blushes on each cheek & use this brush to blend it in (I prefer not to use my hands). It works perfectly for that. I could use it for any powder product as well; it would just take a little more time. As to the price, I asked myself if it was worth as much as a Chanel lip product—would I get as much use as one of those since this is priced around the same. The answer for me is yes. I would use this every day and hopefully for years—which is more than could say for any lip product. So, this will stay in my travel/minimalist/retirement collection and I recommend it to anyone who can make use of a small brush & likes the compact nature of it.

A Travel Size Runt
This brush has got to be the pipsqueak among the Chanel line of brushes. I can't believe they're calling it a highlighter brush. It's such a rinky-dink tiny thing, it makes a kabuki brush look like a big boy. It's the size of a band aid. It has a barrel diameter the size of a Chapstick, and not much bigger than one. Refer to pics and see for yourself. I gave it one star because of it's brush bristles: they are soft & natural. I honestly thought that for the price point, it would be the same size as the other Chanel travel brushes. Boy was I wrong.

Small but better for spot powdering
Some people didn’t like this because it’s small but that’s exactly why I like it. It gives me more control to where I want my powder or highlight.

Petfect mini size for my purse
I needed a mini size retractable brush to apply my travel size Charlotte Tilbury powder when I’m going out. It fits nicely in my Balenciaga wallet on chain. I love it. I’ve searched literally everywhere and this is the only mini size retractable brush out there.
For those who complain about the size, get over yourself, you probably thought you struck a bargain to find a $42 Chanel retractable brush. Chanel does make a regular size retractable brush, but it costs more, buy that one and stop complaining.

Exactly what I wanted - 5 stars
I was looking for a brush that fit the following criteria:
Small enough for my travel makeup bag
Retractable or has a cover
Decent brush size
This brush meets and even exceeds my needs. It is smaller than my full size powder brush, but I don't like to keep my large brush in my makeup bag and it doesn't have a cover.

pleasantly surprised
It is a very small brush but it is exactly what I've been waiting for. Something small enough to carry in your bag (retractable). Also NOT a kabuki style brush that will pick up a lot of product. 4 stars size vs price.
