What it is: A complexion tint that is a first for CHANEL, featuring pigment micro-droplets that deliver a water-fresh sensation and a radiant, healthy-looking glow.

What it does: Created with patented MicroFluidic technology, its lightweight gel texture bursts with ultra-pure ingredients for a bare-skin effect with eight hours of hydration and comfort. Skin feels refreshed and energized.

How to use: Dispense the formula on the back of your hand. Use the included brush to burst micro-droplets, then dab onto your face. For a more luminous makeup result, apply all over your face as a primer then follow with foundation. For a natural-looking bare skin effect, apply all over starting at the center of your face and working outward. To even out and refresh the complexion, lightly apply the formula over foundation any time of day.

HOLY GRAIL!! perfect no makeup makeup

This is my new holy grail no makeup makeup! I went back and fourth about getting this because I saw a few reviews complaining about this giving absolutely no coverage. I was honestly surprised that it actually gives more coverage than I thought. It's somewhere in between bare skin and light coverage. This product covers my redness, evens my skin-tone, gives me fresh, dewy, natural skin. It definitely doesn't cover my freckles or moles but it's like my skin but 100x better- like I did a facial and slept 16 hours. It is truly undetectable and feels so fresh and cool on the skin. I have extremely sensitive, dry skin and this was ultra moisturizing and non-irritating on me. I'm not sure if this is supposed to have skincare benefits but I actually feel like my skin somehow feels and looks better after I take this off... AMAZING!! I have light-medium warm skin (n25-30, Dior skin glow 2.5, Givenchy teint balm 4, giorgio armani luminous silk 4/4.5, nars concealer in custard) and went with the shade Medium which was a tinge too dark on me since I have not seen the light of day since quarantine started... however after blending it really doesn't matter because this product is so sheer. I usually use 2-3 pumps right onto a synthetic brush, stamp it all over my face and blend. The brush included is good quality but too small and cumbersome to apply this. The biggest con is its outrageous price- I suspect the included brush makes it more expensive which seems dumb because if you re-purchase this you'd have so many of these useless brushes. Please CHANEL- sell a version of this without the brush!!

Not worth it... at all!

I wanted to love this, but... the smell. So much fragrance. The hydration factor is zero. It feels great for a moment, but then it just evaporates—feels like there’s alcohol in it, maybe a lot. Next to no color and irritated my skin within a few minutes. I wouldn’t even give this an “eh” I give it a no way.

I wanted to love it

Sadly, this one didn't work out for me. I am 24 with good skin- little to no texture (aka bumps or scarring), although I have a few dry areas and some redness on my cheeks and chin. I prefer a light coverage base with just a bit of spot concealing where needed, so I thought this would be perfect! The texture of this when first applied is very watery, glowy, and fresh with little to no coverage. You can blend it in with fingers or with a brush, but I find you get the most out of the product and the best application when you dab the unblended product onto your face with your fingers and then blend it in with the brush (as opposed to mixing it on he back of your hand first). It does set after a minute, and it also seems to gain a bit more coverage in this drying down process. You loose a little bit of the wet look, but it's still a very fresh finish. The problem I have with it is that, because it's so sheer when it's first applied, it's difficult to see where it's being blended completely or not. Consquently, you can only tell where it wasn't fully blended into the skin after it has set, and then it's too late to blend it into the skin- it sort of sticks there and you can't move it at all without removing it. For me, it really emphasized facial hair (of which I have very little), looking a bit haphazardly applied and not meshed with the skin around my mouth and jaw. This idea of a smoothing, hydrating skin tint sounds so lovely, especially for summer! This one unfortunately takes too much effort, is too expensive, and isn't pretty enough to fit the bill.

Great Light Coverage for Summer

This is not a foundation, this is not a tinted moisturizer. It's a super light color application mixed into a hydrating liquid, which feels like a serum. It offers incredibly light coverage but gives the skin a fabulous glowy look and feel. I have mild rosacea with more redness than bumpiness, and this is perfect even for me in the summer. It hydrates and smooths, and gives enough coverage when I don't want to put on primer, foundation, cover-up, powder, etc. etc. I don't think I would use this in winter, but it's perfect for warmer weather. I also like that I can apply all over my face and then use just a little bit more to mute some of the redness on my cheeks. Some people have written that they wish it didn't come with a brush. I'm actually really happy that it did because I wouldn't want to muck up my regular foundation brush with this stuff and vice versa. My only complaint is the price point because I've gone through it faster than I would like for the cost. However, it will be my summer staple. Please don't discontinue, Chanel, and do better about stocking! I had to search everywhere to find a bottle in my shade.

Well worth the money!

It’s very nice, sheer coverage and nice color match. The included brush is a little small, so I recommend using the Chanel Flat Top Brush, same brush design but bigger.
