LE VOLUME DE CHANEL Mascara

I have tried many,many mascaras, every brand. I have tried cheap and expensive. Ladies this is the best. So many ads have fake lashes and they lie to us. This is the BEST!! And if you want to curl your lashes just a bit after applying (wait until dry) lashes don't stick to the curler! All CHANEL products used in this photo, a natural look: Brow powder #40 Naturel, Shadows Les 4 Ombres #226 Tisse Rivoli, long lasting eyeliner Stylo waterproof #20 Espresso, mascara (the best!!) #10 Noir, and mascara base (like a primer before applying mascara) Beaute Des Cils.

Le volume de Chanel at first did not work for me. Formula is very wet, there is tons of it on the brush and it clumps like crazy. It takes couple of uses for formula to dry out a little bit. I had the same issue with YSL effet faux cils shocking mascara. Brush I am not really crazy about. I do not mind brushes like this one but bristles are way to short. So I kept trying to make this work for me and it did! I still I am not crazy about formula or the brush but somehow it makes my lashes crazy thick with a lot of volume. Color is extremely deep dark black - love it. Does not smudge both on bottom or top lashes nor it flakes - for me that's a huge plus. Who likes to see surprise panda eyes? When it comes to removing I had no problem taking it off with Lancome Bifacil. With Bobbi brown eye makeup remover I did struggle to take this off. In the morning I would realize I still have black line around my eyes. So definitely you need good eye makeup remover to take this one off. I really do not have experience with waterproof mascaras to compare it to. I curled my eyelashes before application but not after which I usually do. I think it doesn't way lashes down too much. I do not think this is mascara for those who want length and separation. Since it clumps (more or less, mostly more) you need nice old mascara brush to go through your lashes and get rid of excess. Nor it's a good choice for those who want natural look.

This is my favorite-ever mascara. I have been buying it for 5 years or so since it was released by Chanel. I bought a tube in December from Nordstrom.com and it was dry and flaky - this mascara is ALWAYS wet and has a very rich, creamy texture. I bought a second tube thinking the first one was a fluke... It's dry too! Buy this mascara, just don't buy it from Nordstrom online. Go to the store.

I usually use Guerlain's Maxilash Volumizing and Curling Mascara but decided to try Chanel's because I never tried one and I heard a lot of great things about it. I found that this particular shape of the wand is very clumping, all it did was combine all the neighboring lashes together into one strand, creating a few clumped lash strands. Also, the color of it is almost black, not blue. I'd recommend Guerlain Maxilash Volumizing and Curling Mascara in 04 Marine as a much better alternative and a beautiful blue color that definitely looks deep blue in light.

I had lash extensions for almost a year up until stupid Corona. I got a gift card for my (quarantined) birthday. I decided to splurge because this product had great reviews. Does NOT disappoint! Blackest black and lifts and lengthens my stubby little lashes. I’ve had problems with mascara making my eyes water (I wear contacts), or making my eyelashes fall out. So far so good and no irritation!! I will be buying this from now on. I’ll save $200 a month on extensions thanks. Hopefully the buy 2 get one sale is coming because I’ll buy 4 and get 2 of this wonderful Chanel mascara! Chanel products never disappoint and are worth the price. Treat yo self
