What it is: An invigorating gel-to-foam face cleanser that removes pollutants and makeup while reducing the look of imperfections and shine for a matte finish.
What it does: LE GEL leaves skin perfectly cleansed and glowing with freshness. Its formula combines two marine plant extracts to help combat pollution and preserve skin's essential functions. Blue micro-algae protects from micro-stress, and marine salicornia extract hydrates and strengthens.
How to use: Apply 1–2 drops to wet or dry skin, avoiding the eye area. Massage into a foam and rinse with cold water.

My new favorite
I love this new to me cleanser. I have more oily skin and this is perfect. I am over 55 with oily skin and this leaves my skin feeling clean and not stripped or dry. I remove my eye makeup with the Chanel Bi Phase and then go straight to this. It removes my makeup completely. I then go to toner, tretinion and Le Lift cream. Perfect!

Not that great
I’ve used this face wash for about a week. I have combination skin. I noticed my t-zone was extra oily after using this product and I started breaking out. Overall, I love Chanel’s make-up but not their skin care line.

Refreshing Daytime Cleanser
This is a simple cleanser that's refreshing and works great as a morning cleanse on combo oily skin. I love the clean scent and how it lightly foams up to gently clean the skin.

Has helped to save my dry skin
I have eczema skin around my face is constantly fry. I have used other face cleansers, like Cerave and Cetaphil, which both don't further irritate my skin, but nevertheless feels super dry after cleansing. I received Le Gel as a free sample, and the first time I used it, my face felt softer and surprisingly not as drying as usual. I decided to purchase full size after using sample for 2 weeks. It has been a month now since I first used it and my face feels like it's going back to my normal skin, without the eczema. Although it does smell slightly "perfumey" it does not irritate my skin like other non-fragrance cleansers.

Not for makeup removal
I love the cream version which removes all my foundation without a trace. This one doesn’t. I wanted to go for the convenience of a pump bottle instead of the tube, but sadly they’re not comparable. Otherwise it’s nice.
