LE CRAYON YEUX Precision Eye Definer

i’m fairly new to chanel products. invested in a few essential makeup and skincare products recently. overall very happy with my purchases, but this eyeliner was such a disappointment! first off, it was difficult to apply, as in extremely dry and tugged at my eye during application. perhaps it was older product thus poor delivery. after multiple attempts to create a decent line, i used the brush to try to create a blurred effect with the brush… as shown in the images for product… and it did not even budge. huge disappointment, not at all what i was expecting or looking for. definitely returned without hesitation.

My go to eyeliner for many years. I can’t tell you how long I have been buying this. I have green eyes, medium complexion and blond (now some graying) hair. Black eyeliner is too bold for me unless it’s an evening occasion. This beautiful gray has a bit of sparkle to it but not that noticeable. I have tried many liners, but this is my absolute favorite and the color is amazing!

I generally get the best of the best when it comes to makeup and skincare—Sisley, La Prairie, Dior. Chanel eyes are among the best, and this is no exception. I have been using their waterproof liner for years, and have been happy with it, but decided to try the teak pencil in this line just for the heck of it. I am pleasantly surprised by how blendable, long-lasting and lovely this non-waterproof formula is. The waterproof pencil goes on heavier and more smoothly, and while this is definitely smooth during application, it is a bit more natural. My left eye always tears when I apply makeup. So I always have to apply, let it tear, then touch up. One nice thing about this pencil is the product adheres better the second time around with the touch up. The waterproof formula works, but it gets slick. Excellent pencil.
