LE BLANC DE CHANEL
Multi-Use Illuminating Base

I actually used the old Le Blanc White Cream Base and loved that in my mid-30's! It gave such a smooth base for my foundation and was so disappointed when it was discontinued...I am so happy Chanel has now began this Le Blanc because I am now in my late 50's and have never used anything BUT Chanel and people always tell me I still look like I'm in my early 40's because my skin looks so good! It is because of CHANEL!

I was worried that this Le Blanc base would look chalky on my skin, but it ended up absorbing well. It lessened the pink/red in my cheeks and reduced the appearance of my large pores, creating a more refined canvas for liquid foundation. It held back shine for several hours, but still left my skin looking radiant -- NOT dry or chalky. I'm hooked! I applied it with a concealer brush, which kept me from being too heavy-handed.

This was a spur of the moment purchase and I'm so happy with it. I put a thin layer on my entire face after moisturizing and before foundation, even though I don't use foundation on my cheeks. I do it for that "all over glow" effect. This primer gives you an even, subtle illumination (without that heavy or cakey feeling/look most primers do) but enough that I find it makes me look fresh even after a bad night of sleep. I also have redness around my nose from old acne scars, and the primer evened the discoloration--a true miracle given that I've tried MANY concealers and none of them have ever done what this primer has done for me. I love it and cannot imagine going without this in my make up routine anymore. If I were in a rush in the morning, I'd ditch everything else and just put this on.

This is truly a multi use product. I use (small amount) for a base to my foundation. I also use little over my foundation on my cheekbones,, under eyes to illuminate. I also reapply (sparklingly) after a long day for evening to look refreshed. This is a purchase you will not regret. Ask for a few samples to get started

I have extremely oily skin, so finding a primer, moisturizer, foundation, or concealer can be difficult-- never mind that I have sensitive skin, major redness, and I'm acne-prone. I received four samples of this after ordering another Chanel product online. After the first use, I was sold. This is hands down the ONLY product I have ever used that has minimized my oiliness, cut down on shine, and has helped keep my makeup on my face and in place and not migrating outward into my ears. I hate blanket statements, but it's true. If you have oily skin, this is the primer for you.
