Saved my skin
I have very sensitive skin...anything new or harsh that I try completely trashes my skin for days or even weeks later. So needless to say that after sticking through the initial 3-6 months of unsightly, painful, flaking, red side effects of Rx retin-a...my skin was beyond destroyed and I had to discontinue it. I thought my skin was irreparable until I started using this Chanel Sensitive Skin Cream. I noticed a difference after the very first use...the flaking had diminished and any red patches went away almost immediately and my skin actually felt 'calm.' It absorbs very quickly so it can be used in the am under make-up and I sometimes mix it with Argan oil at night for deeper moisture. I love this cream and thank it for finally healing and calming down my inflamed skin.

Not for sensitive skin
This is not for sensitive skin.
I felt burn, irritation as soon as I apply on my face.
I don't recommend.

Saved my skin

Gentle and soothing, this cream is what my skin needs!!!! Feels wonderful on, works perfectly under foundation and keeps my sensitive, reactive skin calm.

My New Go-To
I have sensitive combination skin. I react to almost anything/everything, and when I do find something that doesn't make me break out, it is either too heavy or not moisturizing enough. This year, I have struggled with dry patches and tightness over my cheeks, and have been layering two products in order to address that, with subpar results. My experience with Chanel moisturizers has been hit or miss due to my skin's sensitivity but as I had already spent a fortune on various underwhelming products and had nothing to lose, I decided to give this a try after reading the reviews. I am so glad I did. These are probably the best results I've had from a single product (and I've probably tried them all). No breakouts so far, and in fact, skin seems clearer than before. No dry patches. No tightness. I apply it only at night, as I use a moisturizer with SPF for day, and I wake up with clear, even skin that has made make-up go on smoother and last longer (some days I even find myself considering going foundation free). I could not be happier.

Amazing!
I have very sensitive skin and am prone to allergic reactions. I was having a particularly rough time and decided to try this based on Caroline Hirons' review. I'd never tried Chanel skincare before and the price was more than I would usually pay. However within 24 hours I was seeing results. After 10 days, my skin hasn't completely cleared up but it is much better. As long as I can afford it I will continue to purchase it. I've been wearing it under foundation during the day and either on top of an oil serum or under a heavier moisturizer at night. It's a cream but not heavy, and immediately soothing.

amazing!!!
I have been searching and searching for a moisturizer that works. I have sensitive, combination skin and I have tried EVERYTHING. This is the only one that makes my skin look perfect. I'm so in love! Worth the money

Nice, basic, moisturizer, but way overpriced
This is an okay, basic moisturizer. But wow, incredibly overpriced for the ingredients it contains. Nothing special. There are plenty of moisturizers at a way, way lower price point for sensitive skin that have the same idea of minimal ingredients and perform just as well. It is also pretty thick, so you'll have to use a decent amount in order to spread without tugging on your face which goes through the product pretty quickly. Also, it's not super moisturizing - will not work if you have very dry or even dry skin. I also find my face gets very greasy throughout the day using this moisturizer compared to others. The pump factor is nice as it keeps out air and bacteria. However, you will have to take a wild guess if you're coming up on the bottom of the product since it's not clear. Once you're there, there's no prior indication - it just stops coming out at once, which is pretty annoying.
