Another lovely Chanel

This is a perfect fall/winter fragrance. It has that Chanel sophistication for sure, but it's darker somehow, too. The notes are perfectly blended, smooth and quite sultry. It has no overpowering blast at first spritz, and it really could be described as subtle. Once sprayed, I couldn't stop pressing my nose to my wrist! As soon as the sparkling top notes of bergamot and grapefruit begin to exit, the softest rose and jasmine make an entrance, delighting and entrancing the wearer. As the dry down progresses, the gorgeous sandalwood and just-right patchouli announce their presence, and then you realize they were always there, mingling and roaming in the background the whole time, making Coco Noir a delicious, mysterious scent. Love it!

Disappointed

I purchased Coco Noir as a gift to myself at Christmas. I have worn it many times and never have received a compliment. I can't even smell it on myself after an hour. I'm disappointed because almost all of the reviews are positive. Will not buy again.

What I have been waiting for

I have been searching for the perfect scent for so long. I had almost given up finding a fragrance that said "me". Until now. It is absolutely beautiful. It is sexy but in an elegant way. It is long lasting on the skin. Men love how it smells and so do women. You do not find that very often. Do not listen to all of the negative reviews on some of the perfume blogs. They never seem to really like anything I have found. Try this for yourself and make up your own mind. This is Chanel at its best and I hope they keep this in production for a very long time. I also wear Chanel Eau de Premiere. Between the two fragrances I couldn't be happier.

Decadent

I love this fragrance! It is wonderful. I've read some "expert" reviews describing this as a fruitchouli fragrance and how typical it.is, but in.my opinion it's a perfect blend of all my favorite scents. I think it is polished and sophisticated yet daring and meant to.be worn by extraordinary women. It is not for the faint of heart because you will get noticed when wearing this fragrance and definitely for all the right reasons. This fragrance is so amazingly beautiful. I absolutely adore it. I hope they make some bath gel and body cream to go with it. I Just am so enamored with this lovely scent.

Test first

This perfume does not stand up to Channel quality. There is a lack of depth that almost makes it offensive. I had higher expectations for this perfume. I understand that this perfume may just not combine well with my chemistry, and may suite others better. However, I work in the industry know that the notes listed in the description of this perfume are not accurate. For the quality, this perfume should cost far less. Chanel spent their investment on the bottle, the actual perfume is low quality , incorrectly described and frankly not worth the price.

absolutely faboulous

I'm in love with this fragrance. Not only for the pleasing aroma it permeates on my skin but for how long it lasts, every morning that i wake up I'm reminded how deliciously i smell and i haven't even spritzed yet. Now that is amazing considering I've bathed everyday. It is not potent unlike some other scents that knock you off your feet in a sneezing frenzy, this is subtle in a mysterious way. Which for me adds to the whole ambiance and alluring tranquility! The cherry on top is my boyfriend says I smell like a hundred dollars every time he gets a whiff of me!
