Maybe I am the wrong age for this (40) but I did not like this at all. It made my skin tingle - not in a good way and caused it to look reddish. I felt no difference in skin firmness and to top it off it clogged my pores pretty badly causing breakouts. I do not have sensitive skin really and can use most products but this one apparently irritated my skin completely. I have other products I use for lines or firming and for far less. Sadly not a fan at all.

I imagined this to be a marine blue liquid gel serum and was surprised to find a translucent gel with a strong perfume fragrance. It felt smooth on my skin and absorbed immediately upon application, but my skin got dry and needed moisturizer, stat. Alcohol is the second ingredient listed after water, which explains the drying quality. The back story is interesting marketing but doesn’t compensate for a drying, heavily scented, high priced product.

This is a great product, although not for everyone. When I first used it- I didn't think it was that great. I use expensive products and was comparing it to others, for example Le Lift by Chanel. Le Lift serum has an immediate result, skin is tightened and clear. I wasn't a believer in this product till I used it at night ; at woke up with beautiful , smooth skin. This is a wonderful product for pre aging skin. To protect it and prevent aging , I also think there is anti aging benefits in it, it's just not as distinct as some other top of the line products - that cost more too. Yes, my skin tingled and I saw a slight redness. I do have sensitive skin, but that didn't last. I think the trick with this one is with time. Your skin adjusts and you see the difference. Plastic surgeons say that the products that work over time, are actually the only ones that really work or do something on your skin. The ones that show an immediate change- only temporary and don't do anything permanent for the skin. So in some ways , this might be a better choice. Although you can't really go wrong with Chanel. Everything they make is quality and will work to some degree. I would suggest this for 20+ , probably women from 20-40, that want anti aging benefits and protection. This serum will keep your skin looking great. I don't recommend for extremely sensitive skin. Although it is very moisturizing - for dry skin. I think Chanel probably intended this as a protective barrier , to use in conjunction with other treatments. But alone at night - really worked wonders.
