Perfection!
I have tried so many eyeshadow bases...Mac, Stila, Make up forever (which was rated high in a magazine, laura Mercier, which I like, Dior....on and on...
As I have gotten older, my eyelids have a redness to them. Alot of bases are thick, where you have to pull or so thin, it doesn't cover this redness. I bought this in both beige and bright. I like the bright a little more, because it does brighten your eyes a bit. Nothing shiny or frosted, just a subtle brighten. You can actually go without shadow if you like just a base. There is no tugging and it covers without seeing any noticeable, thick base. Its perfect. Of course a bit pricy but sooo worth it! I will never use another base again. Oh, almost forgot, my shadow lasts all day!
P.S. Laura Mercier is my second favorite, but it doesnt seem to cover quite as well

Probably best on younger eyes
This is the first Chanel product of which I am not a fan and I use basically just Chanel makeup products. I am over 60 but don't have crepey eyelids. This product made my eyelids loôk dry and crepey. I returned it, which was a first for me. It is probably good for someone younger and with oiler skin.

More than just a base
LOVE this eye shadow base...many days I don't actually wear eye shadow so I just use this base to give my lids a finished look. First purchase was the bright color which is kind of peachy and has a bit of the Chanel shimmer to it. Since I work out of my house there are days when I skip shadow and use this all over my lids and it looks great. I have always had lids that tend to be a little red, and even more so when I use Latisse and this base completely blocks out the red. I have recently switched to the beige color which looks very natural and has more of a matte finish--it's much closer to my skin tone so it works very well as a lid concealer. Stays on all day, never creases and is easily removed with eye make-up remover. Packaged in a click pen with a brush applicator. Blends well.

The Best
The absolute best eye shadow base around ... and I have tried several. Brightens and definitely prevents creasing and fading to almost nothing! One tip: I get better, smoother coverage by applying with my finger rather than the brush.

MUST HAVE
I do not wear eye shadow without this product! I have oily skin and it causes eye shadows to crease pretty quickly but when I started using this, there was no going back. I am so grateful to the salesperson who suggested this because I can't live without it now! The price may seem a little steep, but a little goes a long way. I use the beige color and have fair skin.

Superb
Just what I have been looking for. Lancome used to make one like this & discontinued. I was thrilled to find something just as good. My eye shadows stay put for my 14+ hour days!
