Lowdown Sport Sandal (Women)

Wore these camping and hiking over the holiday weekend and they were great! The adjustable strap is really helpful for if you're going in bodies of water, especially rivers, where they might fall off-- they stayed securely on my feet all weekend! I definitely agree with the suggestion to size down if you're a half size (I'm a 6.5 so I went with a 6), otherwise they would've been too loose and clunky. I got the blue color and got compliments all weekend. Highly recommend.

I love these sandals! This is my first pair of strappy sandals like this. I usually wear tennis shoes only and if I did wear sandals they were rainbows. I got my fiancé a pair is Tevas and he loved them. I found this style of Chacos to be a bit more feminine than what TEVA had to offer. They are easy to slip on and loosen/tighten (suggest reading the printout in the box for how to adjust) and also easy to slip into without pulling the back strap up (think sliding into a pair of tennis shoes without putting them all the way on to run outside and help with groceries). My only complaint is that they rub on the sides just a bit but I haven’t worn them for more than a couple hours so it didn’t effect me much. Probably a perfect candidate for socks and sandals vibe!

Even though I securely fasten the sandals, during long walks on flat ground, the straps end of loosening. First the heel strap, then top straps. I’ll keep them, because I don’t mind stopping every 20 minutes to tighten them up again. But it’s really inconvenient when you’re trying to keep pace with others.
