Celina Sequin Drape One-Shoulder Minidress

Speedy shipping, beautiful sequins, horrible fit, itchy and hot. I have stalked this dress for 2 years. It wasn't flattering on me. Nadine Merabi is a European designer, so be sure to order I size up. Remember, most sizing charts will suggest that a US 4 is a UK 8 but typically I need a UK 10 which translates to a US 6 on the sizing chart. Size up and save yourself the frustration. The sizing on NM website is incorrect. There's no way the models are wearing an XS/2. I'm 5'6", measurements are 32 25 32. I'm a solid 2, which is what I ordered and it fits like a size 0. The sleeve was too tight to move my arm around plus the sleeve was too short, and the skirt barely covered my butt. The size 2 would work better for a petite person. I ended up ordering the S/4 which fit perfectly. So size up for sure! Overall the dress is stunning and well made, but with very delicate materials. The lining is satin, which snags on everything, and the hemming at the bottom looks like it will unravel easily as the one I received was already coming apart. I'm hoping to get it fixed at alterations, but it's an extra trip that I now have to make. The other issue is the placement of the zipper. Since the zipper is in the back, it's absolutely impossible to zip this dress up by yourself, which I think is pretty silly. Why should women need help getting dressed?? I mean one could try, but they might rip the arm or shed some of the sequins trying to reach the zipper.
